I peeked out the door and seen that some infected were walking past the abandoned house, and I looked at Lesi and she was in the corner shaking and crying. I decided to give her some space. She hasn't talked since I helped get her out of Beano fucked up colony. She's just crying...I walked to her and got to her level.
"Lesi." I tried grabbing her hand, but she moves away from me. "It's me. Please talk to me." I reached out my hand and she looked at my hand full of fear. She began breathing heavily and she didn't want any part of me. I look down shedding a tear because she's in pain. Then I felt a touch on my hand. I look at her and she was still apart from me, but she was holding on to my hand. Her puffed eyes traveled from my hand and looked at me, still shedding tears. She pulls me into a hug and cries on my shoulder.
"I never want to go back to that place." She cries to me.
"Don't worry, never again." I held her tight hearing infected just go to Beano's civilization. I pulled her closer. I heard a bang on the door. I let go of her and began to aim my gun at the door. I stand infront of her incase it's someone dangerous and the door finally opened. It was Lance.
You don't know Lance, but he is Tavia's father. I would hate to tell him the news. He looks at Lesi.
"Man don't tell me you went by Beano crazy ass again." Lance gets food out of his bag. He pulls out some peanuts.

"Wait now!?" I look at Lesi. "I can't take her with me." Lesi looks at me and she tears up. She gets up and walks out the house. "Lance. We will leave tonight I just have to talk to Lesi." I turn around and followed Lesi. She was looking in the heavens as I can see her eyes glow as the sun hits it.
