"Where were you guys huh?" My dad walked up to me and Lesi "You could've gotten killed or worse. Bitten!"
"We are incredibly careful sir. We would never EVER slip up like that." Lesi replies
"And who is that little girl. Ya'll didn't sneak off anywhere huh?" My dad seen Elena behind me and Lesi
"All we did was go to the music store, sat and played a little, and went to City Park and we just sat there for a while. I shrug
"This is Elena" Elena hides behind me and clutches on her teddy bear.
"Hi Elena. I hope you are okay we won't hurt you."
"Why did ya'll sneak off to the park though. To have sex?" Arianna says with her arms folded.
"Uh no sweetheart. With the world going to hell we needed a break." Lesi says with an attitude "That's not all...we know a place where we can go." My dad raises his eyebrow
"Las Vegas. A whole bunch of people are talking about heading there they want to make life easier for their families to survive." I say, "We should head there."
"But what about some more supplies? We need a whole bunch because Las Vegas is really far." Me and Lesi looked at each other with worry.
"They are planning to bomb the rest of New Orleans." Lesi blurted
"What!" They all say, "Why would they do that!?" Elena holds on to me tighter and she starts crying.
"They say since we are below sea level and it is already crawling with the dead, they thought they should. But..."
"But what!?"
"I decided...well we decided that we were gonna stay and pick the city clean. And we would love for you guys to take Elena and watch over her." Elena looks at us.
"No but I want to stay with you guys." Elena tears up and holds both of us. We both kneeled to her level
"We understand that you want to Elena but. We can't take that risk. It's too dangerous for a girl like you." Lesi says as Elena hugs her.
"You gotta be strong. We taught you how to shoot a gun and kill infected. You can protect my dad, my brother, and everyone else." I hug Elena as I stood up and handed my dad a walkie talkie. "Just incase the other one is in the car."
"Just leave without us. If we don't make it to Las Vegas. Then...You know."
"Leave right now too." I say as I give them a box of food and drinks.
"Please come safe." Elena gives me and Lesi a hug.
"Sooo, let me get this straight. They went to the music store, they went to City Park, and they made a white baby. Wow Rico." Arianna says as Lesi glares.
"Okay we are gonna go." I grab Lesi and walk to the car
"She's gonna make me want to put a whole bullet in her head."
"Shhh shhh shhhh I know Lesi she is kinda starting to annoy me aswell."

"Fuck it's hot. Why we had to leave the car at the house Lesi." Rico says fatigued.
