Keeps it just you two at your house. You guys have plenty of snacks and drinks and are all dressed up (because why not?). He gets very excited, throws confetti at you once the clock strikes midnight And kisses you after.
John:
Invites you to the party his family is having, of course you go. You guys talk to people and hang out but mostly are watching tv and waiting for midnight to come.
After midnight, maybe a few minutes after, he'll take you outside to give you a long lasting passionate kiss without his family seeing.
Holden:
Throws a huge party, probably invites half the school! There's food, games, drinks, and much more. Many people are just conversing outside or inside as they await for midnight to approach.
He def kisses you as soon as midnight hits like without a second thought as people cheer his lips are on yours.
