Holden was the golden boy in your eyes. You were 1000% in love with him. You had liked him since the 7th grade, it was now your second year of highschool. You and him were good friends. Everyday you had to bury your feelings deep down, in fear someone would find out. You were afraid Andie would find out. You didn't want to come between them. You knew how much she liked him.

When you arrived at school that morning. You met your best friends Liv and Maddie at their lockers since yours was only down the hall. You spoke to Maddie before she left to go meet Willow. You leaned against her locker and smiled at Liv and she spoke. But, she was cut off by Andie running up to you both.

"We're official!"

She exclaimed. Your heart sunk. Please don't be Holden. Please don't be Holden.

"Official with who?"

Liv asked her friend

"Holden"

She smiled, but you frowned. Damn. You quickly put on a smile as Holden walked over and Andie linked their fingers.

"Congratulations guys"

You said not to loudly, but they heard you.

"I'm gonna, get to class"

You walked away from them, Liv noticing your change in mood. As soon as you were around the corner, you walked all the way to the bathroom, placed your stuff down, and sighed deeply.

The next few days were torture. You didn't even want to go to school. Holden and Andie were so happy and you knew you'd never be with him. Your heart broke everytime you saw them. You were pretty sure that by now parts of you just broke and shut down since your heart was already in what felt like a million pieces.

Liv tried to not talk and hear about their relationship by changing the topic a lot in school cause she knew it hurt you. But it was no use, Andie was in love with him.

One day, they came to school and Holden told you guys about the music he was working on.

You smiled at him as he smiled back. He said at lunch to go up to the music room, you, Liv, and Andie agreed before breaking to class.

When lunch rolled around, you walked to the music room. As soon as you opened the door, you regretted it. Right there, Holden and Andie were making out. His arms around her waist while hers were around his neck. Thankfully, they hadn't noticed you. You quickly walked out of the room and went to your locker. You leaned against it and sat on the ground, crying softly.
