You knew Jordan, ever since you were both eleven years old. The two of you had met at the zoo one day, immediately taking interest in one another when you found you shared the same favorite animal(s). Your parents had exchanged contacts with one another, in order to keep in touch so you and Jordan could remain friends.
The two of you did everything together, pretty much finishing elementary school together, then middle school, and now high school. You both were in your third year.

Jordan met you outside of his house, just like everyday, the two of you walking to school and talking. Once you arrived, you would part ways for you first two classes before meeting again for third period. Then lunch, and more classes, it was a simple yet very exhausting process as you didn't like school all that much.
"Y/n?"
"Hm? Yeah?"
"Are you coming over after school?" Jordan asked as you both were packing up your items at the end of the day.
Back at Jordan's house, Jordan had left the room, now pacing his kitchen as you were in his room flipping through textbook pages. He was trying to think of the best way to ask you out. He's wanted to do it for sometime now but always backed out last minute.
Finally, after a few minutes, he grabbed what he had come to the kitchen for and walked back upstairs to his room. He set down the snacks, before looking at you.
"Y/n, can I talk to you real quick?"
You closed the textbook, smiling at your best friend and nodding.
"I, I really really like you y/n, the way you talk, your smile, your hair, the way you comfort people, the way you aren't afraid to show off, it all just makes me fall more and more everyday, so if you don't feel the same that's fine! But if you do, do you maybe wanna go out sometime?"
"Yes"
"Wait what? Yes, yes what?" Jordan asked, surprised that you answered so quick.
"Yes I'll go out with you, I really like you too silly" you smiled, making the boy smile wider and wrap you in a hug.
