Hope gets ready for another day at school. Dressing in a black shirt and jeans, grabbing her apple on the way out the door... it's almost like nothing has changed at all. As if the last few weeks and months haven't changed her world forever, as if Scott McCall didn't tell her about werewolves and Nogustine and... well, everything that can and has changed her life. The only question left is if it was changed for the better or the worse...
"Hey!" Hope says as Kira slides into the passanger seat next to her, Hope having to turn the music down so Kira could have heard her. Since she now knows about everything, Kira has no reason to stay away from her or keep in any secrets. So everything can go back to 'normal'.
"Hey." Kira says with a smile, buckling herself up with the lap belt from the car.
"So, how have you been?" Hope asks to attempt to start a conversation, anything to keep her away from the questions that still fly through her head.
"I'm good! How are you?" Kira replies with a smile.
"I'm pretty good too." Hope says, eyes on the road, but a smile on her face. And then awkward silence fills the car, neither knowing what else to say. And it lasts for a few minutes as they get closer and closer to their destination of school. Hope just fills her head with whatever thoughts she can, trying her best to not let herself focus on-
"Who are you friends with again? Do you ever have friends other then Kira?" Stefanie's voice cuts through the tension, Hope looking at her with a affectionate glare through the review mirror.
"And why do you care?" Hope says as she debates how she could get away with Stefanie's murder.
"Is Scott one fo them?" Stefanie asks, Hope noticing as Kira's eyes go wide in confusion next to her. Hope's quick to explain how Stefanie knows Hope, knowing of her crush and not wanting her to get the wrong ideas.
"After the coyote thing, my parents decided it would be an amazing idea to invite him over for a 'thank you' dinner." Kira just nods, a bit of the confusion fading from her face.
"Yeah, he is one of my friends... Well, at least for me? You and him are friends to?" Kira asks Hope, Hope nodding.
"He's cute." Stefanie says bluntly, Kira immedately laughing at the comment. "What?"
