Julie and Luke one shots

ch 10: New years

Since it was new years, Carrie Wilson threw a huge party at her house and invited everyone from school. Julie was dreading this party because her and Carrie were not friends, in fact they were rivals. They used to be best friends but they had a falling out years before. Flynn practically had to beg Julie to go. And Julie only agreed because the guys said that they would go with her.

Julie said as they walked up the door of Carrie's house "Are you sure we can't just turn around?".

Luke said turning to Julie "Jules it's a house, come on".

Julie said as he took her hand and rang the doorbell "Alright, I'm coming".

Carrie answered the door and glared and said "What are you doing here?".

Flynn said as she stepped up "UM you invited the entire school".

Carrie glared at Flynn and said as she pointed at the guys "I know that, I was talking about them".

Alex said "Oh, uh Julie invited us and plus we're her bandmates".

Carrie said "Fine, come in".

They came in and then Carrie closed the door and said "Well, shoo".

Carrie then walked away and went to go address people at her party.

Julie said "Oh good, she's gone".

Reggie said "That's great, but I'm still trying to figure out why you and Luke are still holding hands".

Alex and Flynn chuckled at the sight of this and Julie and Luke briefly looked down to see they were still holding hands. Luke said as he let go "I didn't even realize".

Flynn said "Yeah we can tell, but I don't think Julie had a problem with it, she looked pretty happy".

Julie felt her face turn pink as Alex and Reggie started laughing and then she said as she whacked Flynn in the shoulder "FLYNN????".

Flynn said "What? I'm being honest".

Julie said quietly to her "Why'd you say that outloud?".

Flynn said pretending not to hear what she said "What was that, aww I love you too Jules".

Flynn said "I'm gonna bounce, who's coming with?".

Reggie said "Me".

Alex said "Count me in".

Flynn, Alex, and Reggie all walked away and went to go find things to do.

Julie called from behind "Flynn come back, ugh...".

Julie then sighed and turned back to Luke who was smirking at her.

Julie then said "What are you smirking about?".

Luke said "You totally just lied to Flynn, I saw you smiling when I was holding your hand".

Julie said as she lied again "What??? you're being ridiculous".

Luke said as he walked closer to her "No Jules, I think you're into me but you don't want to admit it".

Julie crossed her arms and then sighed because she knew he was right but she was not going to let him get to her so she said "And I think you're completely full of it, I'm not into you like that".

Luke said "Whatever you say Jules". And then he said flirtatiously "I know the truth, you're so into me. You can't even admit it".

Julie glared and said "Whatever, I'm going to go find Flynn".

Luke said "Ok Jules, I'll see ya around".

Julie then walked off to go find Flynn.

She found Flynn talking with Reggie and she yanked Flynn by her arm and said to Reggie "I just need to talk to her for a second".

Reggie said "Okay".

Flynn said "Oww, Julie what was that for?".

Julie said "You were totally right".

Flynn said "Right about what?".

Julie said "This Luke thing, it's not going away and I think I like him even more now".

Flynn said "You should tell him that".

Julie said "What why?".

Flynn said "Cause it's 3 minutes till new year, I mean don't you want to tell him now?".

Julie said "Should I?".

Alex came over and said "Yes you should tell him, do it, we believe in you".

Reggie said as he overheard the conversation "Just tell him Julie".

Julie heard Carrie yell out "2 minutes till the new year y'all know what that means".

Julie said "Fine, I'll tell him".

Alex said "Good, now go. I'm going to go find Willie".

Julie said smiling as she started to walk away "That's great Alex tell Willie how you feel".

Alex said "Ik I'm going now".

Alex then walked away.

Flynn turned back to Reggie and said "Oh uh, I guess I'm ringing the new year in with you".

Reggie said "I don't mind".

Flynn smiled at him and he smiled at her and then they walked away together.

Julie went over by Carrie's pool and saw Luke standing by the edge and she said "Hey".

Luke said "Hey".

Julie said "Listen, you were right, I do like you a lot. I'm sorry I didn't say it before I was just scared, I didn't know if you'd feel the same".

Luke walked over to her and said "Jules, of course I feel the same way. I like you too".

Julie said "Well now that's out in the open".

Luke said "Yeah".

Suddenly the two of them heard Carrie counting down from 10 inside her house.

Julie turned back to him and they heard her say "5, 4,3, 2, 1".

Luke then kissed Julie as they heard Carrie say "Happy new year".

Julie kissed him back as she wrapped her arms around him.

The fireworks that Trevor or aka Bobby had put off, set off in the background and Julie pulled away and then smiled at him. 

Luke took Julie by her hand and said "So uh are we official now?".

Julie said "Only if you want to be official".

Luke said "Of course I want us to be official".

Julie said "Then it's settled, we're dating now".

Luke said "That's fine by me".

Julie then leaned in and kissed him.

Luke kissed her back and then pulled away and said "Happy new year Jules".

Julie said "Happy new year Luke".

(Oh my gosh I'm so sorry this chapter is late, I had a lot going on, anyways I really hope you enjoy it, thanks for all the support)

also y'all I completely forgot that the show takes place in 2020, pls ignore that mistake. I confused myself.
