a few days had past and dally had told the boys about "all that happened." they all thought that the boys had ran off to texas. today was the day that dally and i were going to go visit johnny and pony. i said goodbye to everyone like normal and was walking with dally when soda ran up to us, "lucia!" he yelled out of breath as he caught up. i turned around to him, "what is it?" i asked him. "it's sort of private." soda replied and i nodded and walked with soda. "what is it?" i asked. "listen, i know you know where pony and johnny are," he told me, shit. "and you don't have to tell me but i just want you to give this to pony." he said and handed me a folded up piece of paper. "oh sure." i said quietly and took the paper from him and stuffed it in my jacket."just make sure they stay safe." soda said and i didn't know what to say so i only nodded and he just walked away.
i caught back up with dally and he looked over to me, "what was that all about?" he asked me. "soda gave me this note to give to pony." i said and took the note out, showing dally the piece of paper. "oh." was all dally said. i wasn't going to read it because i knew it was private so i just put it back into my pocket.
