Sean was now on the phone with Felix. His best friend wouldn't stop yelling at him.

"I thought I told you to wait! It's still not a good idea for you to be there, moron!"

"Bro, come on! It's not that bad!" Sean tried to defend himself, "Tons of people have already forgot about that."

"NONE of your fans would forget something like THAT!"

Sean rolled his eyes.

"Did you just roll your eyes?!"

"How did you-!" Sean wanted to hang up. He had a lot more to worry about right now but took a deep breathe, "Look, Pewds, I'm sorry but my egos NEED my help right now. I'll call ya back when it's over"

Felix huffed, "You're fucking impossible. Just trying to look out for ya, bro. . . . Give Anti hell fer me"

Sean felt that pang in his heart again but didn't address it to his friend "No problem there. Talk to later, man"

Sean hung up, just barely catching Mark's look, "What?"

Mark just shrugged, "Nothing . .. it's just . . . . You know. . I don't think Felix has any right to say anything about your egos when he doesn't have any himself."

Sean sighed, 'Not this again.'

Mark continued, "I'm just saying. He had that one fake ego a long time ago. Remember that lie? . . . . . . . Sorry. I know I shouldn't-"

"You shouldn't butt in on my business when you have shit of your own to worry about, too, Mark"

An awkward silence ensued and the other Septic egos were awkward alongside the Iplier egos. They all were uncomfortable in this scenario.

Turning to Dark, Sean changed the subject, "Any word from your . . . . friend?"

Dark shook his head, "Not yet"

"I'm sure they're fine" Mark tried but stopped at Sean's glare.

Before Sean could say anything, though, Jackie popped up, "They are"

Sean gave him a look but the hero remained calm, "We'll see them all again. Just have a little hope."

"Hard to have hope when everything you do fails." Chase snorted, "Stacey was right. I should have just let her keep the kids. None of this would have happened and Anti wouldn't have had leverage on me and-"

"And then Anti wouldn't have had a change in heart" Jackie butt in.

Chase stared at him strangely but Jackie continued, "You felt it. You saw it. He may not have gave a shit before but if he's willing to risk his life for them, then you can't deny he's a changed man"

". . . . changed or not. . . . a man still has to answer for his crimes"

"Good luck getting past Marvin" Henrik chuckled, "You'd have better luck trying to remarry zhat bitch Stacey"

"I can't just forgive him" Chase argued, "Even if he-"

"What will you do?" Sean asked him, "If he's already dead then you shouldn't hate a deadman. Especially one that just gave his life to help"

"His fault in the first place"

"Be that as it may" Sean wasn't about to back down to the father, "Anti could have killed me that day. He had MANY chances to kill me, actually. And instead he made Marvin take my memory of you all and hypnotized me into turning Marv into a cat. Think about it. He could have done A LOT worse"
