Sweet Songs

~Chapter 12~

A/N: This is the last part of this story!!!!! aoidjkfalkjsdf I'm working on another one so pretty much right after i finish this one ill get started on the Semishira angst with happy ending :D now disperse \( ^ v ^ )/

~3 year time skip (Semi is 25, Shirabu is 24)~

The whole day Semi had been really antsy. This morning he had asked me to come to his concert again, and while he was asking he was playing with his hands nervously. 

Weird. 

By the time we left, it was 7:08. We were greeted by Saeko and her boyfriend of 2 years, Akiteru. They greeted us enthusiastically. They gave Semi a funny glance and he blushed a little. 

Weird.

We went in and saw Suga and Daichi, the security guard from a couple years ago. Apparently they had started dating about a year ago. Daichi patted Semi's shoulder and quickly whispered something in his ear.

Weird.

The show started at 9:00, and at this point I was pretty much used to the system because I've been to so many of his concerts. The show started and I walked down to the front reserved seats. I watched as my boyfriend sang a song that they had just released. I smiled and clapped along with the rest of the people in the venue.

At 10:37, Semi suddenly put down his guitar and Kuroo went forward and pat his shoulder and murmured something in his ear. Semi nodded and walked back to the microphone and took a deep breath.

He seemed to be scanning the front of the crowd with his eyes. He made eye contact with me and smiled. "Can a very special person named Shirabu Kenjirou come up to the stage?"

I tensed a little bit. It's been a long time since he's called me up to the stage. I slowly got up and took the stairs on the side of the platform up to my boyfriend. He flashed me a warm, loving smile and I felt my nerves calm down. 

He stepped back up to the microphone. "So, you guys know i've been dating Kenjirou for a couple years now." Murmurs of agreement came from the crowd.

"And," he turned to me and took a deep breath. "I really love you more than anything in the world." I flushed slightly and nodded.

"So it was no hard decision to finally do what i've been wanting to do for 5 years." He got down on one knee and my eyes widened. Several people in the crowd gasped as he fumbled around in his pocket. I couldn't believe my eyes. I silently pinched myself to check if it was a dream. 

"Kenjirou, I was never a believer in love at first sight, but the first time I saw you walk in the gates of our college, I knew you were the guy that I wanted to marry. When I saw you in my room after I indirectly confessed to you," he chuckled. "I was scared because I thought you were clearly too good for me."

My eyes softened. I could never be too good for him. "But when you kissed me, I felt like I could accomplish anything. That I had accomplished everything. I was so glad that night, and I would never have it any other way. We've had our ups and our downs, but we got through all of it as a team. Together." Together. I like the sound of that. It's very true as well. If there was ever any problem, we faced it together. 

"You are my best friend, my reason I get up in the morning, my everything. I couldn't imagine myself with anybody else. There are 7.5 billion people on this earth, but I wouldn't choose any other person other than you to spend the rest of my life with. So," he opens the box and reveals a shiny diamond ring. My breath hitches.

"Will you make me the luckiest, most happiest man in the world and do the honor of marrying me?" I nodded so enthusiastically that I thought my head was about to fall off. 

"Yes! Oh my god, Eita you idiot! Yes!" He chuckled softly with watery eyes. Happy tears are rolling down me cheeks as I hug him as tightly as I possibly could and give him a kiss on the lips. The crowd explosively cheering becomes background noise as he pulls back and slides the shiny ring onto my left ring finger. I admire it for a second before kissing him deeply again. 

"I love you so, so much."

"I love you more."

"I doubt it."

He made us stand up and he raised my hand up high like he had just won a lottery. The crowd cheered like their lives depended on it. "Say hi to my fiancé, Shirabu Kenjirou, soon-to-be Semi Kenjirou." That makes my heart flutter. I'm going to be married to him. The love of my life.

He pulls me in for one last kiss before we walk off of the stage, the crowd cheering all the while. After the show, we recieve congratulations from all of the band plus Daichi, Akiteru, Alisa's girlfriend Miwa, and Kuroo's boyfriend Kenma. We were showered in purple rose petals by Alisa while everybody cheered. I would never, ever, in a million years forget that night.

also funny story i've been listening to Arctic Monkeys and Mother Mother recently and you wanna know why? beCAUSE I SAW A FOKING FANFIC THAT SAID SEMI PROBABLY LISTENS TO ARCTIC MONKEYS AND MOTHER MOTHER SNJDSNSJSNND I GET MY FREAKING MUSIC INFLUENCE FROM SOMEBODY SAYING THAT SEMI PROBABLY LISTENS TO IT HELP ME

also the fanfic was called "Enemies to lovers typa beat (SemiShira)" by @Oikawa_Juicy_Ass (that was painful to type out lmfao) its literally sO AMAZING 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND READ IT RIGHT NOW ARF RAWR
