If you've made it this far, congrats, you're going to meet Karma! Also, you've probably seen that my update schedule says I will be updating on every Sunday and Wednesday. I am going to stick to that with an exception of this week. That is because I want to give it a week to hopefully get a few reads before updating regularly. My first update will be on Sunday the 10th and I will be updating regularly after that. I hope you enjoy! The next day, Karasuma starts teaching our P.E. class. Today we are practicing our knife stance and we're supposed to be staying synchronized, which is going surprisingly well. Korosensei smells a flower as he watches us, enjoying the brief moment of organization.
"Make those knives seen. Treat every move as if it is a legit kill strike" Karasuma says to us. He then starts to tell Korosensei that he is in the way and that he doesn't teach this class. I'm starting to get a bit tired, but it could be worse. At least I'm in the back row so most of my classmates can't see how ridiculous I look at the moment. Karasuma ends up sending Korosensei to the sand pit to build a sand castle. Korosensei huffs as he starts to make a pile of sand, mumbling something about us liking him better as a P.E. coach.
"Yeah, not so much. No offense or anything, but when it comes to exercise... " Sugaya trails off.
"You tend to set the bar pretty high." Sugino finishes in reference to that one time when Korosensei made us do impossibly fast sidesteps while also doing cat's cradle. That was a nightmare.
"Like we could keep up with that." Nakamura grumbles, remembering that lovely class.
"We're human beings, you know. I for one think our coach should be, too." Sugino adds, making Korosensei go back to slouching in the sand pit.
"Right! Back to work, people." Karasuma says, redirecting our attention.
"Can I ask an obvious question, sir? If there's an actual point to this training, should uh... Should we be practicing right in front of our target?" Maehara asks.
"Whether killing or studying, it's the same principle, drill the basics and they'll serve you well. Isogai, Maehara. Step up. I want you to try and tag me with those knives." Karasuma orders.
"Wait, like as a team?" Isogai asks.
"Do you think that's a good idea?" Maehara adds.
"The blades are harmless. They weren't designed to injure human beings. Tell you what, manage to hit me and you can go home for the day." Karasuma says as he loosens his tie
"Uh, okay." Isogai says, sounding uncertain
"Well, here goes nothing." Maehara adds before they both lunge at Karasuma. The older man dodges in a single, quick movement.
"Come on." Karasuma urges the boys. Maehara jabs at him again, but Karasuma redirects his attack while also dodging Isogai. He effortlessly blocks them both simultaneously by grabbing their forearms every time the attempt to hit him.
"See that, kids? Even with the bare minimum know-how, I can practically dodge their attacks in my sleep. They've got no technique." Karasuma says, Maehara and Isogai grimacing before running at him again. This time, Karasuma grabs both of their wrists, flipping them over and slamming them both flat on their backs.
"If you can't land a hit on a guy like me, you haven't got a prayer against a guy who's top speed is Mach 20. See? We've been sparing for half a minute and look, he's had time to change clothes, make tea, and build a model of a castle." Karasuma says while gesturing to our yellow octo-teacher.
