Thanks for 400+ reads, and sorry if the scene I wrote in is a little cringy, the chapter was kind of short before so I wanted to add something in. Also, thanks to @lizzievsuniverse for voting on all the chapters so far :)

It was right before finals so Korosensei was helping us study once again. He was lecturing us as we studied outside. He was saying something about how our grades should sky rocket since we had improved so much since midterms. I hope I can get even higher this time, maybe I can even beat Karma.

"Not to worry, Terasaka my boy. Even you can do well if you believe it!" Korosensei says, causing Terasaka to groan. "Now then, you'll recall that Shiro revealed to us that the loss of a tentacle results in diminished speed." Korosensei says as he once again shoots off one of his tentacles and drawing our undivided attention. "One less appendage and already the integrity of my clones has been compromised. Note that several of them have now become child like versions of yours truly. Loose another and presto!" Korosensei proceeds to shoot off another tentacle. "Even more child clones thrown into the mix! Along with fretful parents clones struggling to make ends meet. Loose another and" shoots off another tentacle. "the father clone has walked out, leaving the poor mother abandoned clone to fend for herself and children however she can." Is Korosensei okay? "The main takeaway class, is that each tentacle kerplewyed represents a ten percent reduction in my agility, which brings me to my proposition. Those of you who get the highest scores on your finals and or the best ranking in individual subjects are thou given the right to obliterate exactly one tentacle a piece!" Korosensei announces, catching everyone's attention. That'll definitely be a strong motivator. "This is how we do finals here, boys and girls. This is the assassination classroom. Ask yourself, are you prepared to inch ever closer to the grand prize?" Korosensei asks as we all stare at him. Now I've got to do well on my way finals. During our break, everyone got to talking as I sat at my desk reading.

"A tentacle for each highest score." Nagisa remarks.

"I know, how exciting!" Okuda exclaims.

"That's rare. You're really fired up about this, aren't you?" Karma asks.

"Well aren't you? It's a great opportunity." I say while looking up from my book.

"Of course! I know science backwards and forwards! This is my shot, I finally get to contribute to the cause!" Okuda says excitedly, ignoring my comment.

"What's cool is that everybody's good at something on the test. Korosensei will loose so many arms he won't have a prayer." Kayano says as Sugino's phone starts buzzing.

"It's Shindō." Sugino says before picking up and answering the phone. "Hey what's up, how's it going man? Heh, still licking your wounds?" Sugino asks. They exchange a few words before Sugino turned the phone on speaker and set it on the desk so we could all hear. This probably isn't going to be very good news.

"Right now, as I'm talking to ya, A class is holed up in one of the main campus conference halls doing a independent study hall. It's being lead by a bunch of geniuses. The schools finest. They're called the big five." Shindō says. I freeze. Asano is definitely a part of that. "In second place on the midterms, there's Teppei Araki, third place is Sakakibara Ren, sixth place is Natsuhiko Koyama, and seventh is Tomoya Seo." Shindō says in a weird announcer voice. That's only four, the fifth must be Asano, and he's surely in first.

"Um, quick question dude. What are you doing with your voice?" Sugino asks.

"Oh, I... I always wanted to be an announcer. Just practicing." Shindō says, sounding embarrassed. "Anyways, lording over all these guys is the grand overachiever... In first place, hoisting his flag to the top spot of the national exams with perfect scores in every subject, the man with a genetic disposition to lead, student council president, Gakushū Asano!" Shindō finishes. Crap, I was right. Dealing with him again is not going to be fun. At least he can't do much more to just me anymore, and it will be much easier to handle him with the rest of the class.
