Thank you so much for 850+ reads! I have been watching the Danganronpa anime and it has been nice seeing everyone from the second game again. Anyways, I hope you enjoy today's chapter :)
We were all standing at the base of a cliff face, preparing to climb up, get the antidote, and save our classmates.
"It's too dangerous. Whoever this guy is, he's a pro. This scenario's been planned out to the last detail." Karasuma protests.
"Perhaps the wisest course of action would be to simply hand me over, is that it? Unconditional surrender?" Korosensei asks. "The choice is yours."
"It's... Its just, this is so hard." Yada says.
"Look at how high we have to climb." Yoshida says.
"Ten to one they plummet to their deaths before getting halfway up." Irina wagers.
"It's not worth the risk. We play by the enemies rules." Karasuma says, hanging his head in defeat. "Nagisa, Kayano. Be on your guard." Karasuma says, but we had other plans. Our whole class had already proceeded to begin climbing the cliff face.
"Come on. What're we scared of? It's just a ledge." Isogai says. "No biggie."
"I know right? What've we been training for?" Okano asks.
"True." Hayami answers. The teachers, minus Korosensei, gawk at us. They really expect us to put even more of our classmates in danger?
"Oh yeah. See? We can handle this." Isogai pauses his climbing to look back down at Karasuma and Professor Bitch. "Now, whoever's waiting at the top may be a different story, so hey, Mr.K. It would be cool if you came with. We need a commander."
"Help us make this bastard pay!" Terasaka shouts. "Show him what it means to mess with E class!"
"Look at that. Clearly these are no ordinary teenagers. You have a sixteen member, special forces unit at your beck and call." Korosensei says.
"But I only count fifteen." Miss Irina says, confused.
"Probably because you didn't count me." Ritsu pipes up from Nagisa's phone.
"Quickly my friend. Time is of the essence." Korosensei says, trying to convince Karasuma. Karasuma pauses, looking at us.
"Alright! Listen up! When we reach the summit, our objective is to get to the hotel's top floor. This is a stealth infiltration so our best weapon is the element of surprise. I want you to use the same hand signals and link ups we've been drilling in P.E. The only difference here is who we're targeting. You've got three minutes to memorize the map! Know the terrain. We commence in five!" Karasuma orders as we all smile at him.
"Yes sir!" We all respond before doing as he ordered. After our time was up, we all start to scale the cliff face. I feel bad for Karasuma, he has to carry both Korosensei and Miss Bitch, and let's just say she isn't making it easy. Okano is ahead of everyone, but me and Karma aren't too far behind. Karma kept glancing back at me to make sure I was still doing fine. That's sweet of him, but he should focus on his own climbing. Once we all reached the top we hid behind the short fence surrounding the hotel and Mr.K pulled out his phone.
"Ritsu, I want you to run a final check on our infiltration route." Karasuma says.
"Right! Displaying interior map now!" She says with a little salute. "Analyzing data. All elevators require a unique passcode for every floor. Stairs are the less conspicuous option but there's a catch. Access doors are ranged at odd angles to each other across their respective foyers and the stairs themselves cover a lot of ground. We risk detection at several points." Ritsu reports.
