Avery isn't answering my calls. I wonder what she's doing. I need to tell her I'm not comfortable with this set up anymore. I regret marrying an abusive man.

"Darling, you feeling better now?" Dimitri asked as soon as he's done grooming himself up.

I forced out a smile. "Yeah. The contractions doesn't hurt anymore. I also took my meds."

"Maybe I can accompany you tomorrow for the pre-natal check-up?"

"Nah, I can handle it. Yana will come with me as well. Besides, I don't want to be a burden to my husband."

He chuckled. "You sure is a reliable wife." He caressed my tummy as he crouched down. "Baby, be a good boy while daddy is away okay? Don't stress mommy out."

I run my fingers thru his hair. Dimitri stood up and kissed me. "Goodbye, love."

"Bye."

When Dimitri was gone, I stroked my tummy. I turned to face the full-length mirror and dropped the pillows I was tucking underneath, until my stomach became flat.

All this time, I was just pulling-off a maternity role. I did this so he would stop raping me. The Tchaikovsky were fools. They didn't see through my acting skills. Probably because they're still grieving of their younger son's demise.

Oh, Bozhe. Until when can I act like this?
