The Evil Genius Master of Manipulation
Raina FullerI woke up to an empty bed as expected. I was tired and still a little hungover from the many glasses of wine I had last night. Nevertheless, I made my way to the bathroom so I could freshen up before I ordered room service.
I had no idea what I was going to do today mainly because I was so indecisive. As I stared back at my reflection I must say, my skin has really cleared up. I guess I haven't been as stressed as I thought I was. Chris proposed the idea of me shopping in the city then meet up with him for lunch before we meet with the writers, and it sounded like a pretty good idea, one that I could work with.
As soon as I was through freshening up I ordered breakfast which was delivered to me in thirty minutes. I was pretty stunned that the food was this good, I mean it was overpriced so it's the least they could do. I ate my food as I skipped through the channels looking for something to watch.
Once I was through with my food I started moving around trying to put my fit together when I came across something I'd say was rather interesting. I don't know how I forgot my hairbrush, I knew Christopher never leave anything behind since image is everything to him. I dug around his things in an attempt to find the dang brush when I stumbled across a print out of the submissive two.
I didn't even know he was working on a sequel, I was excited and thrilled since I enjoyed book one so much. I read the first ten pages then I stopped, and skipped to the back of it. Turns out it was not the entire book but rather just the first chapter.
Daniella said something a while back and maybe she was on to something. I skimmed through the pages some more because I was in disbelief all the things I told him were somehow about the lead character's life, her miscarriages, possible infertility, cheating on and off boyfriend who now has a girlfriend that's pregnant...
This could not be a coincidence...
I felt a bit shaken up at first because I could not comprehend what was happening. I eventually put back the chapter where I found and went on to find that hairbrush.
I have no idea how I would bring this up to him, but I strongly feel like I could not trust him anymore. I mean many women face the same struggles as I do so it really could be a coincidence, who knows how long ago he started writing that. But in the same breath, the similarities were extremely close.
I tried my best not to focus on it too much as I tried to get ready for the day I had ahead of me. The driver he used was here at the time he said he would be and just like that I was in the back seat with my eyes glued to the window as I took in the scenery.
