"Are you serious? Get up!" Taylor says, throwing a pillow at Karlie, who is still in bed.
The moment Taylor's alarm had gone off, she jumped right out of bed, excited for the day. She was dressed and ready to go in moments, and then she realized the model was still asleep.
"Karlie."
"Okaaaayyyy," Karlie groans. "Why did I even come up with this idea?" Karlie asks, mostly to herself, rubbing her eyes.
"What should I say you want from Starbucks?" Taylor asks, about to send a message to a bodyguard.
"I don't know, whatever," Karlie says, standing up and stretching.
"Stop taking your time, let's do this!" Taylor says, pushing Karlie by the back all the way into the bathroom.
"Aren't you a pushy little thing?" Karlie jokes, allowing the shorter girl to guide her nonetheless.
"Just hurry up, I'm excited!" Taylor whines.
"Okay, just throw my phone charger in my bag for me?" Karlie asks, closing the door to the bathroom to get ready.
Karlie takes her place in the passenger seat beside Taylor and slams the door shut.
"Okay, I think we have everything," Karlie says, twisting around in her seat to give the back row a final look. The backseat is filled with all road trip essentials. Blankets, pillows, fresh baked cookies, water bottles, sandwiches, other snacks, and board games for later. In the trunk were their bags of luggage.
"Alright, here's my phone for the AUX cord," Taylor says, handing Karlie the iPhone.
The two way radio in Taylor's glove box is heard, one of the three body guards accompanying the two girls on the road trip letting Taylor know they're ready to go when the girls are. Taylor starts the car and presses the button to open the gate at the bottom of her driveway. The identical black Lincoln begins following.
"Okay, here we go," Taylor says smiling, sneaking a glance to Karlie beside her. Karlie meets Taylor's smile with an even bigger one of her own. "Pacific Coast Highway, the whole way up."
