"Samheed, I'm sorry. . .you had to wait so long. Alex is awake, he can't move but he's conscious. Just wanted to let you know. "

"Dammit Henry you had me scared at the first half." Samheed muttered under his breath before letting out a sigh of relief. He left the ward hastily and ran into the ward to Alex's bed, where Alex laid still unable to move. His eye were glassy, lip slightly quivering. "Why can't he move? He looks uncomfortable."

"Whatever had happened to him sent his body in a slight paralysis shock. Sam, you were there. Could you explain what happened?" Henry asked. Samheed eyed Alex and then looked back at Henry.

"A spell went wrong." Samheed replied. Henry looked at him to go on, but Samheed didn't continue. He pulled over a stool and sat by Alex. "Hey," he said. Alex glanced at him sorrowingly, his finger twitching but everything else still. Whatever burns he had those four days back seemed to have absorbed into the skin, or faded or something. There was no trace of that anymore. Sam felt confused more than ever to understand that situation but feeling's of relief overtook. "I'm glad you're okay." he whispered.

As much as he tried to hold his cool, a tear slipped down his cheek while he let his hand hold Alex's. Hopefully Alex isn't as uncomfortable. "That was a stupid stunt you pulled there Stowe," Samheed chuckled weakly while tears rolled down.

Alex gave a pained short smile, and mouthed as much as he could. "Yeah, I know." and it followed by a strained silent laugh. Sky came in shortly after and freaked out more, from having returned to Henry's message.

"Henry you damn scared me the first half." Sky said, lightly slapping Henry's arm.

"Maybe I shouldn't have added the dot dot dot," Henry sheepishly said.

For the next hour, Samheed and Sky sat in the ward having breakfast, and talking to Alex. Internally both relieved and upset at him. Suddenly Alex glassy eyes widened, and he glanced urgently at Henry.

"What's up?" Henry asked, while Alex glanced urgently at Henry. "Did you need water?" Alex stiffly shook his head. After some failed guesses, he hoarsely said "Lani." and winced right after. Samheed and Sky exchanged sorrowing and surprising glances at the mention.

Henry, still unknown to Lani, says: "Yes, she hasn't seen my message yet. Sorry Alex." Everyone was against Alex, but for the current situation, they put aside those feelings to make sure Alex was okay.

Alex gulped painfully and said "Live." Sky looked confused while Samheed stood up, eyes wide.

"You mean?" Samheed started.

Alex faintly nodded.

It felt as if weight lifted off his shoulders. "Oh gods, where?!" Samheed asked.

"Sam, what did Alex mean?" Sky interrupted.

"Live. Alive. Alex meant Alive!" Samheed said.

"Ssss...... Hhhhh" Alex sounded out.

"Alex, please don't talk. We shouldnt overload your system." Henry said. "And what about my sister Samheed, is she okay?"

Samheed had a smile of relief on his face. "Don't worry Henry, I'll get her. Ssss. Hhhh. S.H. Secret Hallway." Samheed figured.

"Who knew you were so bright," Sky joked. "I'll wait with Alex. Go get her." Samheed bounced off his seat and out the door and Alex sadly watched him leave. A wave of relief washed over Sam. Alex was okay and Lani was alive. He didn't even bother over the fact Alex lied to him, and rushed through the Secret Hallway, checking the doorways.
