A week later
Elias' POV
Jacob and Ally have grown further apart but they just act like friends, they aren't ignoring each other. I get more attention from Jacob so that's nice, Ally and Violet hang out more, and there's a football game tonight. The girls are going but Jacob said it wouldn't hurt his feelings if I stayed home and watched it alone because he knows I don't want to be around people. I felt bad though but I put his shirt on, hug the pillow from my bed that smells like him and I sit on the couch. Am I obsessed with him? Yes, do I care? No, all my family went to this game, I totally got yelled at because mental things are a thing to my parents. I turn on the tv and switch the channel to the channel this is on and I bite my lip and scroll instagram. I don't understand football but its good mindless tv and the people here use really good camera so, I can look at all the guys. That is weird but I'm mainly looking at my guy but extra ones, thats part of the package, and I laugh at myself. I say "I am so stupid" chuckling and I watch the whole game.
A few hours later
Our team won, that's good, I'll hear about it for the next week, good or bad, they will never give it up until the next game, so actually I'll hear about it till next year. Thats fine, I guess, and I laugh at myself. I go to my room and change my shirt and put on just casual clothes then I lay on my bed just waiting for everyone to get back. I know they're back when I hear cheering like more than usual, something exciting must've happened. I go out to the living room and my parents aren't here but a bunch of football players are. Mom, why?! I know my mom set this up to be "nice", I'm gonna die tonight, that's it, folks. Positives is that the parents aren't home, negative all the people that are annoying are at my house. I say "when are mom and dad coming back?" One of the guys says "aww, you miss your mom and dad?" I say "no, I'm not too fond of them, trying to prepare myself for when they come back, don't assume shit" and Ally says "tomorrow morning" and I say "thanks, sis." She says" I told you to stop calling me that" and I say "too bad" and everyone chuckles and Ally fake pouts. I go to the kitchen and just sit on the counter and scroll Sebastian Stans instagram cause that'll make me happier. I bite my lip thinking, what am I going to do? Football players in my house tonight, can't play guitar, can't sing, and I don't want to go skateboarding and I don't want to cook anything. I don't have homework, this sucks, I have nothing to do, I mean I can sing and play guitar but I could also get made fun of for the rest of my high school career. I'd say I'm pretty good but they make fun of the stupidest shit because they have nothing better to do. I say "how cold is it outside?" To myself cause all of them are talking in the living room and I check the temperature of outside and it's too cold to go skateboarding even if I wanted to. My body hurts so, I'd prefer not to, thanks, Jacob. They all come into the kitchen and look at me and I say "what?" They all smile and I say "oh my god, stop. What do you guys want from me?" Violet says "we're ordering pizza, do you want any?" I say "sure?" She says "great" and they all still look at me weirdly. I say "what do you guys want now?" Jacob says "nothing" and I say "why are you staring at me then?" We laugh and I say "I don't put on shows for free" and we laugh and one of the guys say "what's your name?" I say "we've gone to school together for two years and you call me a nerd all the time in math? You seriously don't know me?" Dumbass. He says "oh, you! Ok, now I know you" and I roll my eyes saying "stop looking at me like that all of you because no, I'm not gonna do your homework, great" and we chuckle. They all nod and one of them say "I like you, you play sports?" My sister laughs and I say "I will end you, no, I don't, I'm a nerd, remember?" We laugh and one of the guys say "I think you just got schooled" and we laugh harder. I bite my lip saying "I think you did" and we chuckle and I say "I am going to my room" and one of the guys say "you're so boring" and I say "no, I'm tired, you don't know me" and I go to my room. I play electric guitar cause my parents are going to tell me to stop playing and Devin won't be there to tell them to shut up. I play just random chords then i hear a knock at the door over the noise and I put my guitar down and I get up and leave my room. Everyone gives me a look and I say "I heard the door" and one of the guys say "alright, spider man" and I chuckle. I open it and a guy hands me a package and I say "thank you" and he says "you're welcome" and leaves. I shut the door and I see the package is for me, yay, I got a guitar pedal and I'm more excited than I can contain. I say "finally, its here" and I go to my room and before I open the door Ally says "what did you get?!" A guy says "its condoms" and we laugh and I say "you really don't know me, its guitar pedals that I bought like a month ago." The guy says "are you sure it's not condoms?" I say "you want proof?" I grab scissors in the kitchen and sit on the floor of the living room and open it. I say "dude, this one is supposed to sound so gross, and this one is supposed to sound very grungy, like Nirvana meets Green Day meets Metallica in the mid nineties." One of the guys say "is gross a good thing?" I say "depends what you're playing."
