POV: Analia

The rest of the week rolls by in a flash and the next thing I know, it's Thursday. Fight day. I'm pretty excited and confident that I will rock it but there is always that little bit of fear in the back of mind. Its a good kind of fear though. It motivates me.

Evelyn's mom is obsessed with the twins. She always wanted more children but sadly she was only able to have Evelyn. She jumps at every opportunity she has to watch them and i don't mind because I trust her. She's a good mom and wife and the twins always get spoiled rotten so they love her too. So she is watching the twins for a whole night while I go fight.Of course Evelyns mom doesn't know I'm fighting though. She thinks I'm going out to dinner with Everest and Sienna when they are really coming with me to watch me fight.

The location Ray sent me this time is way closer to me so we get there in no time. I go into the back exit while they enter through the front entrance. When I enter the locker room I quickly throw on my stuff and then head to Rays office.

I knock on the door and he tells me I can come in. "Hey Analia! I heard about the accident, are you ok to fight??" He asks concerned. But not so much in concern for me, it's in concern for the money he could lose.

I roll my eyes at him "Yes I'm ok. And how much are we looking at for today??"

"Since you've beaten Silent Ravager way more people have bet on you to win. This means more money for you. If you win you could get about 35,000."

Woah. . . 35,000?? I would be set for a long time with that amount of money and I'm determined to get it.

I nod my head and make my face look nonchalant so he won't think I'm dependent on him or this job. People tend to take advantage of you when you start to show how much you need them so I never do that.

He tells me what time I'm supposed to fight then I leave his office and make my way to the stairwell leading to the ring with the same guy as before. The one who crashed into me. He doesn't even look at me as we wait for my name to be called and when I've had enough of the awkward silence I say "look it's ok what happened, it was an accident. I mean I'm not happy that you were on your phone because that is so stupid but I forgive you. I'm alive and well so let's move past it."

He looks up at me in confusion. "Wait your not mad? I thought you were gonna beat me up or something at least."

"No i would never do that." I say mystified "And why would you think that? I was nice to you when we first met." No wonder why he was so tense, poor guy thought I was gonna hurt him. To be honest it kind of amuses me that I'm that intimidating.

"I am so sorry. I didn't get to say that in person before my family picked me up but your right It was really stupid to be on my phone while I was driving. I could have killed you. And I just thought that someone who can beat the Silent Ravager would never just let me off the hook." He says apologetically.

"I am not that type of person. I am just here to get my money and leave. I also accept your apology." I say with a smile.

He smiles back, noticeably releasing a breath of relief. We hear my name called and I leave out the door. As I hop onto the blood covered ring I get a standing ovation. Everyone is screaming Scarlet Dragon and I get many awed filled looks from people in the crowd.The man I'm supposed to fight is trying to hide it but he looks scared as fuck. That makes me giddy because I'm a crazy bitch. I just find it funny that I can make a grown man tremble.

Anyways the announcer calls out the rules and all that jazz and in less then a minute the dude is knocked out on the floor with blood covering his face. The screams from the crowd are deafening as I walk out the ring without a scratch on my body. Everest and siennas screams being the loudest. I nod my head to them indicating to wait for me in the car while I go get my money. They understand and start to leave as I make my way back to Rays office.

When I finally plunk down into the car I'm 35,000 dollars richer.

"ANALIA!! That was amazing! You took that guy out with like one punch. I will admit I was really worried when you stepped onto that ring and stood next to that giant but you CRUSHED HIM! This brings me back to the days when Everest used to fight and I would be so scare-"

"Sienna! Chill" I say with a chuckle to stop her rambling.

"Sorry I'm just soooo excited for you."

"Yea Rosie we both are really proud at how good of a fighter your becoming" Everest says rubbing his wife's swollen stomach.

Those words hit deeply because nobody has ever told me they were proud of me. "Well it's all because of you guys so be proud of yourself for being such great teachers, but not just teachers friends too."

Sienna starts to tear up but I'm bad with emotions so I change the subject super quick and we drive the rest of the way home in high spirits. They drop me of at my house and wish me a good night then leave. As I open my door I notice that it was left unlocked. I never leave my door unlocked so I'm instantly alert. I pull out the pocket knife I keep in my purse and slowly look around the house. When I don't see anyone my body sags with relief. But how the hell was my door left unlocked? Nobody else has the key and I know for a fact that I would never forget to lock it so I'm confused.

I open the door to my room and let out a blood curdling scream when I see a figure standing at the foot of my bed. I blindly throw the knife in the persons direction and open my eyes when I hear a thud. . .
