Chapter 11

POV: Analia

I look up from my phone and meet Everest's eyes.

"Umm Ray just texted me..."

He looks pained as he says "Is there no way I can convince you not to go??"  

"Not a chance."

"Ok then me and Sienna will watch Lila and Leo." Sienna perks up at that because she is basically obsessed with them.

"Thank you. For everything I mean."

"You don't have to thank us just please be safe."

"I will." I go to kiss Lila and Leo goodbye, get my things and leave.

I enter my room and take out the black and white boxing shorts with a dragon embroidered on that I got along with a black sports bra. I put those on and then throw on a hoodie until I get there. I also get my gloves, tape and mouth guard and put them all in a bag.

I put on bright red lipstick as well just so I can seem more ✨luxurious✨

Yes I know I'm extra, But I like to make an entrance and he did say to wear something that represents me.

I hop into my car and make my way to the location he sent.

It gets more ominous and deserted the closer I get. 

After 30 minutes of driving I finally pull up to a creepy and abandoned wear house.

Uhhh I'm starting to think that Ray might secretly be an Axe murder and that I should turn around and spare my life right now before I get killed.

The side of me that's depressed, crazy, and has no self preservation says fuck it and I hop out the car.

If I die at least I know the twins have Everest and Sienna.

I look around the building to find the entrance and I find the definition of a protein shake guarding a door on the left side of the building.

I wave my hand in front of his face. "Oh hey uhh Ray told me to come here to fight."

He looks me up and down and starts to snicker.

"You won't make it out alive kid." He says but opens the door anyway. I hate sexist ass people who are stuck in the 1800s. They are the ones who think that girls can't whoop some ass too! His words are just fuel to make me want to win even more.

As I walk through I make sure to throw him a vulgar gesture.

When I turn back around i am surprised to see that I wasn't sent to a crack house with homeless people wondering about.

But what I do see is a long ass staircase leading god knows where. I make my way up and when I finally reach the top directly in front of me Is a door. on the left side is just a wall but on the right side further on down is a hallway with more rooms and at the end of the hallway is another staircase leading downstairs.

"You can come in now Analia." says a familiar voice from inside the room in front of me.

I open the door and there sits Ray behind a desk. 

"I'm very happy to see that you made it. I was inclined to think that Everest would have chained you down to prevent you from coming." 

So was I.

"Nope but he did try." After a beat of silence I ask "Where am I supposed to go and what am I supposed to be doing??" He was very vague on the details so I'm thoroughly confused.

"Well I already picked who you will be fighting against all that you have to do is get ready in the locker room and I will have someone escort you to the ring where you will begin the fight. If you win you will be brought back here where you will collect your money, If you lose you can just leave and come back next time."

Oh ok that seems simple enough. "What if I'm you know...incapable of driving due to the injuries I may receive."

He smirks at that. 

"Then you will probably have to call Everest to haul your ass outta here." 

Well damn.

He calls up someone to escort me to the locker rooms after that.I get in the locker room but don't see anyone around so I start to get ready.

I put on my tape,(Everest taught me how) gloves, and mouth guard but i keep my hoodie on because i will take it off once i get in the ring. That's really all i had to do since I mostly got ready at home and walk out the door. The boy who brought me here then leads me to the staircase leading downstairs.

"Once you get down here your gonna hear the announcer introduce your opponent, he will then introduce you as a newcomer since you don't have a name yet but when he does you will walk out and get into the ring and wait for instructions ok??" 

I blow out a nervous breath and nod my head.

I may very well get my ass beat today.

"Your also the last fighter of the day so watch out because there might be some blood on the floor."

Well that just makes me feel so much better!! *cue the sarcasm*

As we descend further down the stairs I start to hear the crowd cheering and the announcer on the microphone.

"Well now we have our last fight of today and our first opponent is the unbeatable champion with 70 wins and zero losses THE SILENT RAVAGER!!!" The crowd goes wild in a flurry of applause and screams.

I on the other hand start hyperventilating. 

The unbeatable champion??

Why would Ray set me up with the best fighter on my first night?? He literally has zero losses. I know that I'm a good fighter but did Ray really have enough faith in me to think that i could beat The Silent Ravager?

"Our next opponent is a newcomer so she has no name yet-" Everyone gasps when he says she "so she obviously has zero wins and zero  losses but welcome her everyone!!!" 

The boy opens the door for me and i step out and make my way to the ring. Everyone gasps at what i can only assume is because of my small frame and tiny body.

I get onto the ring and when i connect eyes with my opponent the world stops spinning.

Mr. Gorgeous stares at me with wide eyes and an open jaw.
