maddie's pov:

"it feels like we haven't hung out in forever!" says Paige.

"i know right! it's like maddie's never here anymore..." Brooklyn responds.

"excuse you?" i say in response. i never thought Brooke would say that. especially to my face.

"i just mean that you're never hanging out with us anymore. it's always Daniel this, Daniel that." she says looking down at her lap. i've been trying to hang out with them for the past 3 weeks now. they're always busy with something. the boys are my only other friends, of course i'd hang out with them.

"don't even say that, Brooke. i've been trying to hang out with you both for weeks but you're always busy!" i snap and grab my things.

"where are you going?" asks Paige.

"i'm leaving." is all i say before walking out the door leaving them both speechless.
