corbyn walked back and forth in the living room eagerly waiting for daniel to get home from his date with maddie. he was going to tell him about his crush on the younger boys girlfriend. he knew it was the best thing to do. even though he loves maddie, he also knew that it was wrong to have a secret crush on your best friends girlfriend, or at least that's what he thought jonah was implying.

impatiently tapping his foot up and down scrolling through his phone, he heard the door open and looked up to see a smiling maddie. he looked at her like she was an angel coming down from heaven. he didn't even realize she was trying to get his attention.

"corbyn?" she asked his snapping her fingers in front of his face. he snapped out of his imagination and saw both her and daniel standing in the living room.

"sorry." maddie smiled at him and kissed daniel's cheek, which made corbyn jealous.

"i'm going to take a shower and then go to bed, night corbs." she smiled at him once more and then made her way upstairs. daniel sat down next to corbyn.

"you okay?"

"oh uh yeah, why?"

"you look sad, wanna talk about it?" corbyn shook his head. "you sure?"

"actually, i need to tell you something. i can't keep, keeping it from you." daniel nodded. "i have a crush on maddie and i have for awhile now. i'm sorry i kept it from you. i didn't want to ruin your relationship with her and i didn't want to ruin my friendship with her." he let it all out. daniel just looked at him. "i should've told you sooner, i'm sorry."

"well, i'm thankful you told me." he smiled. corbyn looked at him confused. "what?"

"you're not mad? i assumed you'd be mad because you're overprotective over her."

"i'm not mad." corbyn let out a breath he didn't know he was holding in. "i'm gonna go to bed, thanks for telling me bro." he smiled and walked upstairs. corbyn smiled at himself as a weight lifted off his shoulders. though he didn't know what maddie would think of his crush on her, he's glad daniel isn't mad at him.
