{Oh so much excitement~
Hope you enjoy!!}~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On the train to the next town over, Gajeel, Levy, and Panther Lily were talking about the job.
"So we just have to get rid of the thieves?" Levy asked.
"Yup," Gajeel said.
"I still don't really understand how this is a 2 night trip, though," Levy wondered.
"Well... We gotta track them down and stuff," the dragon slayer chuckled nervously.
"And then there's that library," Lily said, backing Gajeel up.
"Ohh I see now," Levy said blushing with excitement.
'So far so good' Gajeel thought to himself.
"Oy, Shrimp," he said out loud, "I made some sandwiches, you want some?" Gajeel opened a small bag that was next to him. From there he pulled out some sandwiches. He handed one to Lily, who gladly accepted since he enjoyed Gajeel's cooking, and offered one to Levy.
"What are they made out of?" The blunette asked.
"Well," Gajeel said taking a bite out of his, "I'm hoping you like cream cheese, turkey, and well veggies..." He explained.
"Did you say cream cheese??" Levy said with excitement.
"Mhmm," Gajeel chewed.
"I love cream cheese!!" Levy exclaimed. She took a piece of Gajeel's bitten sandwich for a taste. Gajeel blushed at how it had been a piece of his own sandwich that she had taken.
"It's... Amazing!!" Levy squealed quietly. She took the wrapped up sandwich Gajeel had offered her and began to chew through it.
"The cream cheese is Gajeel's special recipe," Lily explained proud of his friend.Levy's eyes widened. She had never tasted cream cheese that delicious in her entire life.
"Gajeel," she said blushing, "I might just have to come to you so you can make me some more food."
"You liked it that much? I didn't think it was that amazing," Gajeel kept on blushing but turned his head to the window so the light would conceal the pink tint on his cheeks.
"Yup. You'll make me some more yummy food right?," Levy smiled.
Gajeel looked at Levy. The bright light made the blunette glow beautifully. It was something Gajeel hadn't seen in a long time.
"I suppose," Gajeel said chuckling quietly.
~
After about an hour and a half they arrived at the train station in the town the job request had come from.
Levy smelled the fresh air outside.
"Ahh," she said, "The outside feels nice." She stretched out her small body and grabbed a small back pack she had brought along.
Gajeel and Lily carried the suit cases. They walked to a small hotel where they would spend the nights. They had been planning to rent 2 small bedrooms but they all seemed to have been rented out for the week.
"The only rooms available are the rooms with 2 beds in them," the girl at the desk said.
"But we need two rooms," Gajeel said a little pissed.
"We can't afford two of the big ones..." Lily said.
"I don't mind..." Levy said blushing, "Sharing a room..." Levy's face had gotten red, to the point of no return.
"Well..." Gajeel said surprised and tried to conceal a blush, "I guess if the Shrimp's ok with sharing the 2 bed bedroom... Then we'll take it..."
Gajeel looked at Levy."You sure you're ok with this, Shrimp?" Gajeel asked.
"Y-yeah," Levy's head was going a bit dizzy from so much excitement and her embarrassing blushing. "I mean we can make it work.... Right?"
Gajeel's eyes widened at the remark.
"Y-yeah," he said.
"We'll take the room," Panther Lily said. He could see that both Gajeel and Levy were speechless at the moment.
They all walked into the bedroom and settled their things around the room to make it a bit more comfortable.
Gajeel's stomach growled.
"Hey, Shrimp," he called to Levy after a while, but the blunette already had her nose stuck in the book she had brought along.
Like usual.
Gajeel walked up to Levy who was in the bed closest to the door. He waved his hand in between her and the book.
"Huh? What?" The blunette looked up at Gajeel.
"I was wondering if you wanted to go out and eat." He explained.
Levy's stomach answered loud and clear with a quick growl.
"Yeah..." She chuckled nervously.
"Well wear something nice and comfortable," Gajeel said, "There's a cafe Lily and I saw on another trip here for a job."
"Dress nice?" Levy blushed.
"Yeah..." Gajeel said heading out of the room. "Lily and I'll wait outside for you."
"Oh. Mkay," Levy said taking her suitcase and placing it on the bed
Levy walked outside of the small hotel with The cute lacey shirt she had picked out and the comfortable blue denim shorts.
All Gajeel could do was stare at her.
"H-how do I look?" She asked him.
"You look real nice," Gajeel smiled.
"Really?" She asked.
Gajeel nodded. Once again he saw the glow that the script mage emitted, and he stared with confusion.
"Let's go," the blunette smiled.
They made their way to the cafe and chatted about some cool storied Levy had read about mythical creatures.
~
They arrived at the cafe and Levy sniffed the scent of freshly made cinnamon apple cake.
"Mmmm... That smells wonderful... This is a really cute place Gajeel!" Levy smiled.
"I thought you'd like it," he said smiling as they entered the cafe.
"I do," Levy smiled.
They sat down and waited for a maid to come by to take their order.
"What would you like?" She asked and both Lily and Levy gave their order.
"And what would you like, sir?" The maid turned to Gajeel.
Gajeel looked at the menu.
"Hmmm let see," the dragon slayer said.
All of a sudden there was the sound of dishes breaking. A blue haired maid with semi-long wavy hair, short of height, and big green eyes stared at Gajeel.
"G-Gajeel..." She said with widened eyes.
"Huh..." The iron dragon slayer said.
"Huh?" Levy wondered, "Gajeel, what's wrong?"
"Damn..." Gajeel froze and didn't face Levy.
The blue haired maid ran to hug Gajeel around the neck.
"Gajeel I missed you so much!!" The girl cried.
Both Levy and Panther Lily just stared in shock.
