Later that night Gajeel made sure Levy was in the best condition by pretty much spoiling her.
"And you're absolutely, 100 percent sure, that you have everything you need?" Gajeel asked.
"I said yes!" Levy exclaimed. "Gosh Gajeel I told you yes like a million times!"
"I know Shrimp, but-" he began.
"And the one thing you won't stop doing is the only thing I need!" Levy said throwing her arms up in the air. She had told him to stop calling her 'Shrimp' twice the anount of times as she had told him that she had what she needed.
"Eh?" Gajeel said dumbfounded, "Uh, Shrimp?"
"Arghhhhh," Levy screamed, she was bound to go crazy by the end of the night. "Forget it!" She slammed the bathroom door in his face.
"Way to go hot shot," Lily said lying upside down on his and Gajeel's bed.
"Shut up," Gajeel hissed. All he wanted to do was make sure the blunette was okay but he seemed to have irritated her instead.
Levy clamped her chest as she tried calming down frim so much excitement. 'It's only the first day and so much has happened already,' she thought to herself. She washed her face and took some deep breaths. She fixed up her makeup, tho she didn't wear much. She walked out of the bathroom to see what the dragon slayer and exceed were doing. Gajeel seemed to be sulking in the corner while twiddling his thumbs around a piece of metal. Lily seemed to have fallen asleep next to Gajeel.
She walked up to the dragon slayer with pouty lips and mumbled an apology. Gajeel looked up at her still sulking but then he gave her his big dopey sharp toothed smile.
"No worries Shrimp, I'm sure I'd be irritated too," he said. He got up and ruffled her hair.
She sat down on her bed and opened her book to the last few pages. She sighed as she counted the amount of pages left.
"What's the matter?" Lily said sleepily flying to her bed to lie down next to her.
"I'm only a few pages away from finishing this book and it's the only one I brought," the script mage responded.
"You only brought one book?" Gajeel said wiping his hands on a towel as he walked out of the bathroom.
"Y-yeah, Lu-chan said to not bring that many if I was going to the library anyway," Levy said.
"Hmm," mumbled the exceed trying to stay awake to keep conversation.
"Well let's go right now," Gajeel said with crossed arms. He already felt bad for what had happened earlier so he was willing to do whatever the bookworm wanted. He saw her considering the suggestion and proceeded to explain.
"I mean if we go today we could just focus on the mission tomorrow."
"Right," Levy said just now realizing she had forgotten about the mission due to the events from earlier that day. "Ok," she began, "Let's go, maybe we can also ask about the robbers to see if anyone's heard or seen anything."
The three guildmates headed out to the library. Levy was limping quite a bit from her injury and she figured she had temporarily damaged a nerve. Gajeel grabbed the script mage by the hand and wrapped her arm around his.
"You can lean on me ya know," he said. Levy hid her face in embarrassment and nodded.
When they arrived at the library, Levy immediately when to find the section on solid script magic. Within five minutes the bookworm had already picked out several books that she wanted to read. She carried a massive stack of them to the nearest empty table and picked the first one.
