it was now october 7th. school had started for the kids, including el, who now joined the rest of her friends at hawkins high.
ever since the wonderful weekend el and mike spent together, they were much closer. and, even though they had now experienced a new way to spend time together, they still enjoyed simply snuggling up and watching movies together.
they were happy, and happy with where their relationship was. until el got sick.
she woke up, her stomach and swirling ball of pain. she ran to the bathroom before puking in the toilet. hopper walked in to hold back her light curls.
since el stayed home from school, max and the boys stopped by after school to check up on her.
they all sat around and watched movies until it was dark, since it was still a school night. mike kissed her goodbye and they all wished her well before walking out the door.
however, their wishes weren't enough.
every morning for the next week, she was so sick.
one night, she was talking to max over the radio. "wait, el, when was your last period?" suddenly, she realized. she hadn't had her period in almost two months!!
she told max who asked her exactly when her and mike first had sex. she remembered clearly, august 14th. "holy shit el. you're pregnant."
