The snow fell still as Dylan gained her composure. London air was frigid tonight. Of course, not many people were out at 1 in the morning.Passing the shops and homes with warmth from beneath the door made her feel lonely for only a moment. The night was quiet and solemn.
While others had their family and friends She had a small flat and strangers who watch her sing.
The bland drapes of the apartment windows were drawn and the kitchen light was on. Her roommate, Finn, had another "friend" over. This time though it was a young red headed man. He looked kind, but knowing Finns type he was most likely only here to stay one night.
She mumbled a quick, "hello", and kicked the snow off her boots before heading upstairs. The narrow stairway was only lit by a small lamp placed on the wall which barely lit three stairs up.
Making her way down the hall to her recording room before letting down her short blonde hair. She had been planning on streaming again as she had an irregular schedule and had gotten many suggestions from the kids at work.
Clicking the stream button She made sure her camera was off.
"Hey guys, it's Blue! Welcome to another stream and this time I promise not to cut it short!"
Seeing as it was about 2 am in the UK she figured a large amount of her followers would be asleep or not able to watch. Yet, as the numbers rose to 8,000 viewers she couldn't help but smile.
"I had an idea on what to sing or what to do this stream but I'll let that be up to y'all. I'm putting up a poll for whether this should be a chill stream or if I should take song suggestions so make sure to vote!"
The room was warm and gave her a sense of home. This was the only place she felt safe and happy.
"Alright chat, today's gonna be a chill stream according the the votes. Send me questions while I tell y'all how my days been."
She sighed before fixing her orange jumper. Her lips touched a cup of hot coffee she assumed Finn had put there before she got home.
"This morning I woke up around 7 and went to my usual cafe and got my coffee. Today's weather was the same as the past few days so I made sure to dress warm. Nothing new happened besides me visiting a new lunch place. They had adorable reindeer ornaments in the window."
Her views now rose to over 30,000 as she had been streaming at least half an hour. Donations then started ringing in.
The automate voice rang, "Claire donated $5.00: Im a big fan of your channel and enjoy your singing! What part of the UK are you from?"
"I live in the Brighton area and don't plan on moving anytime soon even though my apartment is quite boring" she giggled as her chat brought in new questions.
"Am i friends with any other streamers or have I met any of them? I am friends with a couple small streamers who are amazing and lovely people. I'm going to link their channels soon. I've heard of a lot of streamers and have seen many people shipping me with them." She laughed meekly. "I've heard of a couple Minecraft youtubers as that's what I used to be known for. Especially a good, old friend of mine Eret."
She smiled as another donation interrupted her talk.
"NootNoot donated $13.26: have you heard of the dream team or GeorgeNotFound?"
Her face twisted into that of confusion.
"I have not actually, but I'm assuming I should hear about them soon." She yawned causing her viewers to question how much sleep she's gotten. All she did was laugh and say she's alright.
//time skip//
"Alright chat, thanks for stopping by! I'm gonna end it here as it's 4:30 in the morning. Stay healthy and happy! Bye!"
She clicked the stop recording button and sighed. Moving over to her room she climbed under her white blanket and shut her eyes wishing sleep would come easy.
