Guiding Dylan underneath snow-ridden trees he prayed that the lights were still up.

To his relief every bulb was shining brightly across the small open area. Pulling Dylan to sit they reached a checkered quilt laid out for them.

George had commissioned his friends Tommy and Tubbo to set up the area ten minutes before. Relying on a boy who was ever so annoying In George's eyes and the other who was too pure for this world may not have been his best option but they pulled through.

They chatted lightly and began to eat their meals. Every so often Dylan would get a shiver up her spine from the winter air.

George handed her his jacket before Dylan could protest.

"You're going to freeze!" Dylan shouted. George knew he was being foolish to give up his jacket in such weather and slowly took it back.

"I just wanted to keep you warm, love." He smiled.

Blushing, Dylan moved closer to him and laid her head against his shoulder. Her mind wandering off to everything the boy had ever said to her.

"George can I tell you something? It's something that not many people know about me."

He nodded reassuringly and smiled at her figure.

"My name is actually Danielle." She giggled. "I felt the name was too much of a girls name and anything else just didn't fit. I didn't want a label in conversations when my name was brought up. I didn't want people to hear about me and assume hey, that's just some girl."

"You wanted to be a surprise, a mystery."

The girl could only nod.

"I think Dylan fits you perfectly." He breathed out.

George pulled out his phone and began playing music from his Spotify. Soon enough, Out Of My League by Fitz and the Tantrums began playing.

Dylan got up to George's dismay. She grabbed his hand and brought him over to a clear patch of ground and began dancing around crazily. George laughed before grabbing her hand and twirling her. Her laugh was loud and music to his ears.

She started singing to the music as they danced around each other.

Her hair had fallen from its ponytail and was sticking up in places. George couldn't deny that she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen.

It's alright by Mother Mother began playing next.

"This is my favorite song!" Dylan cheered.

"I know!" George laughed. "It's grown on me."

She flopped down into the snow and continued swaying.

George followed and listened intently to her voice. He was truly in love with everything she does.

"Dylan?" George questioned as he turned his phones volume down. She hummed to let him know she was listening.

"I- I don't know how to say this."

"You can tell me anything George, trust me."

Her smile made his face heat up and his nerves vanish.

Grabbing her hand he began to speak.

"Dylan, we've known each other for almost two months. It's honestly been the most fun I've ever had in London or anywhere for that matter."

He took a moment to breath in deeply.

"You've become my best friend ever but don't tell Nick or Clay I said that. Hell, we've shared cake pops and if that doesn't tell you anything then I don't know what will." He joked.

"Before I get too carried away. I wanted to ask you a question."

She told him to go ahead as she held his hand for comfort.

"Dylan Mae Montgomery, Dyl, love." He began. "The times we've spent together have been the most amazing time of my life. Even when I'd just sit there and watch you make coffee for strangers. No matter what happened tonight, I'm still going to be in the same seat tomorrow and every day after." He chuckled.

He pulled Dylan closed and began to put his hands on both sides of her face.

He leaned in slowly and kissed her. He finally kissed her! His brain couldn't form thoughts as he pulled away.

Dylan had other plans as she pulled him back to her lips again. Their lips meeting and hearts melting simultaneously.

As they pulled away George got a surge of unbelievable courage.

"Dyl, will you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?"

The girls small figure was frozen in shock. She couldn't believe that he finally asked her.

"Yes! Of course!!" She screeched hugging him tightly.

"Oh thank god." George sighed. He was nervous for nothing the entire time.

"Let's go back to my apartment. I know something fun we could do." He smiled.

They walked off towards his flat after picking everything up and shooting a text of thanks to Tommy and Toby.

As they entered his flat Dylan got on her tippy toes and went to kiss him causing George to have to lean down a bit.

"George, you're absolutely amazing." Her cheeks burned as he grabbed her by the waist bringing her to the kitchen.

"Alright, let's bake a cake!" He shouted.
