Naya entered the park to meet up with Changbin near the bench they sat on when they had their first date. Changbin smiled when he saw his girlfriend, pulling her into an embrace. When they let go, he took her hand in his to walk through the park. It was a lot better than just sitting down to talk.

"How did practice go?"  Changbin was trying to procrastinate talking about why they were meeting up.

He didn't want to acknowledge they were drifting away, just not yet. But this was something they had to do. Their busy schedules kept them from seeing each other or even talk to one another. Something had to be done in order to keep being happy in the long run.

"It went great. It helped me get my mind away from certain things." Naya glanced down at the ground while Changbin looked at her.

"Did Noona text you?" They eventually had to talk about what was going on between them.

"She told me she's worried about us both. And suggested that I should talk to you about how I feel about everything." Changbin knew that his sister cared about his girlfriend.

She was proud of her brother for finding girl as amazing as Naya. Whenever Changbin was able to visit his sister, she wanted to talk about Naya and the relationship. She would always mention she didn't want to see them break up over busy schedules. Normally, Changbin would have agreed. But in the end, it would hurt them even more if they kept the relationship going.

"I'm going to get busier soon. For at least two or three months and I'm not really looking forward to being away from you for so long." Naya could feel Changbin's grip on her hand tighten.

When it was starting to get dark outside, they both knew they would have to go back to their friends. And so, with a heavy heart, Changbin knew what he had to do. He had been thinking about this for quite a while, wondering if he should do it or not.

Weighing out both the pros and the contras of his idea, he realized it was something that had to happen. No matter how hard it was going to be for the both of them.

If Naya didn't have to wake up very early the next day to get to work, she would have wanted to stay at the park the whole night with Changbin. She didn't want the night to end as she already had this feeling Changbin would end their suffering.

"Na, I really don't want to do this." Changbin leaned in to kiss her, taking their time as it was their goodbye kiss.

When they pulled away their foreheads stayed touching while they looked into each other's eyes. There were no sparkles inside them anymore. Naya tried hard not to break down in tears, but it was already too late. She could feel them roll down her cheeks, tasting a glimpse of salt when they reached her lips.

"I'm sorry. I'll always love you." If Naya wasn't already crying, this would definitely have made her break out in tears.

Naya could feel her world crumbling down when Changbin left the park and so her view. He didn't look back at her because he didn't want to regret his decision. They had to break up, in his mind, there was no other solution but to end their relationship.

Naya wanted to leave this place, but she felt paralyzed. So with a lot of strength, she called Eunji who made her way to the park as fast as she could. On their way home, no words were being exchanged. Even if Naya wanted to, she couldn't.

She lost him.

**NOTE**

Hello, editing me here. So, I am well aware that a lot of people saw this coming. I just never expected I wanted this to happen so quickly. Because now that I think about, they didn't have to break up at all as they could have made it work without ending the relationship.
