Chapter 18 - Beautiful

They hadn't been able to go out on any more dates, because they didn't want their friends to know just yet. For now, they wanted to keep everything a secret, to ensure their feelings for each other were true.

The dating ban of Stray Kids was still in place, meaning they had to be careful even more. If anyone found out, Changbin might be put on a hiatus. And then the group would have to lie about the reason why to their fans. Fortunately, they wouldn't have to wait long before it ended, their anniversary was nearing.

Because their friends didn't know about the two, they had to figure out how and where they could meet. So, they decided to tell Changbin's sister about, who aloud the two to meet up at her apartment. She was taken aback to find out her brother was seeing someone, she was happy for him.

Blue Ivy were preparing for a comeback, whereas Stray Kids were nearing the end of preparations. The two couldn't meet up for a while, but Changbin was able to figure out something and meet with Naya today.

While Naya waited for Changbin's message, she had been going through some playlists on her go to music site. She wanted to do something special for the fans, for dealing with the lack of promotions from her solo debut. At first, she wanted to write a song herself, but she didn't have the time for it. So, instead, she wanted to record a cover. There were a few song Naya liked, but only one stood out. A song she hadn't seen anyone cover just yet.

But she didn't have time to listen to the complete song when Changbin messaged her, letting her know he was on his way to his sister's apartment.

Naya arrived early, already heading inside as Changbin's sister made her feel at home.

"Are you still hiding you're dating my brother from your friends?" They had been keeping it a secret for a while now, so Naya expected this question to be brought eventually.

"He talks about you a lot. I've never seen him so happy, Stay don't even make him so happy." Naya was a little surprised because she never expected Changbin would talk about her to his sister.

"He didn't lie when he told me how pretty you are." His sister got up from the couch when a knock was heard, Changbin arrived.

Naya tried her best to hide her flushed cheeks when Changbin hugged her softly, greeting the girl that made him happy. He apologized for being late, but the other members were causing him a bit of trouble. They might realize soon that their friend was keeping a secret from them.

"I hope Noona didn't embarrass me. Or that she didn't lie when it comes to me." Naya couldn't help but giggle, if only Changbin knew.

"So, you don't think I'm pretty?" Changbin's eyes got larger when he realized he messed up.

"I'm just joking! Noona never lies about me. I definitely think you're beautiful." Naya hummed and planted a soft kiss on his cheek, to show him she understood him.

There were times Changbin would ask Naya if he was able to kiss her, because they had been dating for quite a while. But she was never ready for it, because she was afraid and didn't know how to. Fortunately, Changbin didn't mind as he would wait forever. There was no rush and he wanted Naya to know.

Perhaps, when the time was right, Naya would let Changbin kiss her and it would be a day they would never forget.

I changed up this chapter quite a bit. At first, I wrote Naya wrote an English song for the fans. But I wanted to change it to make it a bit more realistic by having her cover an English song instead.

Sometimes, you have to change the story quite a bit when editing. But it feels weird, it's hard to explain why.
