Chapter 9 - Never give up

Changbin agreed to meet Naya at Blossom Entertainment. He was quite curious about the favor Naya wanted to ask him. But he could tell it was important. When Changbin arrived inside the studio, she was relieved to see him.

"What's going on?" Changbin noticed the worry in Naya's eyes, his voice sounding worried too.

"The producer won't help me with the song. I tried calling my manager, but he didn't pick up and told me they were already busy with Blue Ivy's comeback. I don't know what to do."

Naya was panicked. Everything seemed to go perfect after she met up with Changbin at the park to work on the song. She wanted to work on it so badly, but those who she needed the most were leaving her alone with the task.

Changbin sat down on the chair next to Naya's, cautiously placing his hand on her shoulder. She looked at him. His eyes calmed her down.

"I can help you. I can even ask Chan Hyung to help out with arrangements. I'm sure he would be delighted to. You won't have to do this all by yourself."

Naya felt much better, relieved and thanked Changbin by hugging him without realizing she was. He tensed up at first, but hugged her back, even if it was short. None of them aware of what was happening.

Of course, Changbin wasn't able to help her out just yet. He only came over to make sure she was doing fine and to hear her out. But he was busy with something and so, couldn't stay for long. Naya then decided to head to the dorms and just tell her friends everything that happened. She needed their support as well.

Miyoung was surprised to see Naya back from the studio already. She expected the rapper to be there for a few hours, but it only had been an hour since she left.

"PD said he doesn't have any time to help me with my solo project." Miyoung immediately felt bad for her friend.

"Their true colors are showing. But I'm sure you will figure something out." And Miyoung was right, because Naya found a solution immediately.

Naya decided not to tell Miyoung yet about her plan. Eunji definitely couldn't know, because she would annoy her even more. Naya first wanted to focus on the song itself, before telling the other members about Changbin helping her out with the production of her solo.

A few days later, Changbin was available to help Naya out. She was feeling nervous and didn't even know why. When she arrived at the studio, she made sure to get everything ready. Anything to keep her mind away from the nerves taking over her body.

Soon the door opened and Changbin walked inside. He was wearing a cap and mask, making him a little unrecognizable. 

"For now, I lied to the members. I told them my sister needed my help with something." Naya didn't expect him to lie to his friends.

Changbin took his seat next to Naya, keeping his cap on and pulling down his mask to rest on his chin. He looked at her and smiled. Something seemed off.

"I've thought about it for a while and I would like to feature on the song. That's what's been missing. The second verse, it should be recorded by me."

Naya wasn't ready for this surprise, needing a while to think of something to say. But, maybe Changbin was right and it would take her fans by surprise.

So, Naya agreed.
