Chapter 11 - D-1

A few months had passed. Naya finally finished her single album and she was feeling excited, but nervous as well. There were only two songs, the one with Changbin surprisingly wouldn't be the title track. Perhaps, the fans wouldn't be happy with her decision. But she made it with Changbin, because he didn't want to steal Naya's spotlight.

The album would be released soon. Both Blue Ivy and Stray Kids have found out about the collab and were looking forward to it. The two rappers weren't allowing them to listen, though. It had to be a surprise to them, too.

And so, their friends found out they had been spending a lot of time together. Teasing them about it once in a while.

Changbin: They're still bugging me,
asking me to let me listen to our song

Naya: My friends are like that too
Naya: But they just need to have the
patience

Changbin: How are you feeling?
Changbin: I know you might be nervous,
but just know you have no reason to be
Changbin: You're an amazing artist and
your fans will love your solo debut

Naya: Thank you, it means a lot to me
Naya: Honestly, I don't think this album would
have been possible if you weren't there to help

Changbin: You would have figured things out
Changbin: I'm just glad we didn't have to
ask Chan Hyung for help

Naya: It really surprised me we were able
to ask someone at JYPE

Changbin: I'm looking forward to the day
of release
Changbin: You're not regretting choosing the
other song as title track, right?

Naya: Not really...
Naya: Are you sure you don't mind?

Changbin: I promise, I don't mind at all

"The song will make me ship you both." Naya was about to reply to Changbin when Eunji spoke up.

Putting her phone away, Naya put her attention on her friends. They were having dinner right now, made by Yuri and Miyoung. It was nearing midnight, meaning Naya was ready to post her first teaser, the only photo teaser, because the company wasn't allow her to have any more.

"Please don't. Why would you even do that? We're just friends." Naya didn't understand why her friends were looking at her friendship with Changbin that way.

As soon as midnight arrived, the concept photo teaser got released.

Naya didn't want the fans to know there was a collaboration to look forward to. She wanted them to surprise them. Though, she felt nervous. She didn't know how Heaven and Stay would react to it. Perhaps they were going to be supportive, but there was a chance they would hate it. K-POP fandoms can be quite cruel, the toxic side that is.

Some fans, for some strange reason, were going to ship them. She already knew that, because it was something Eunji already was doing. And she was Naya's friend. But Naya didn't want them to do that. Changbin was her friend, just her friend. It's what she told herself and  something Changbin thought as well.
