Chapter 46 - Back On Track

Although both groups were still promoting their comebacks, Naya and Changbin were slowly finding the time to spend some time together at their safe space.

"After the comeback season, we're going to be able to spend so much more time together." Changbin was excited to have a break.

Naya hummed in response. Although she loved performing and interacting with Heaven, she look forward to some free time before things would get even more hectic. 

"Soon we can go public again." Naya let out a chuckle as Changbin kissed her cheek.

Of course she was looking forward to ending all the sneaking around again. However, she was still afraid of how everyone would react to the news.

"So, I've been thinking. While we are on our break, I was thinking we could go away on vacation. Just the two of us, to get away from everyone and everything." 

Changbin wasn't really sure how Naya would like the idea. It was a big step in their relationship. Fortunately, to Naya that sounded perfect as it was something she would definitely need. Changbin was already looking forward to the vacation.

"But first! We should think about possible ways to tell the fans we're back together. Because I feel like they will have a lot of questions." Changbin nodded in agreement and took out his phone.

He opened his notes. Between the many possible lyrics to songs, there was one note where he wrote down some of the things he wanted to tell Stay relating to his relationship with Naya. Conveniently, Naya had done the same thing.

Once they figured out what to say, they enjoyed each other's company for a while. 

"You have a tour happening quite soon, after our holiday." Although he would love to perform in front of his fans again, he knew that he would have to miss Naya for quite some time.

"We'll be fine, Na."

A few days later, Naya found herself packing to get ready for her holiday with Changbin. Although they would leave in a couple of days, she wanted to make sure she wouldn't forget anything important.

"You're stress packing, Naya." Miyoung looked up from her phone.

Naya let out a sigh as she sat down on her bed. Maybe she was just a tiny bit stressed. 

"We have planned to release the announcement at around midnight." Naya mentioned, it was something she hadn't told her members yet. Mostly because she forgot.

"I'm just a bit nervous of how everyone is going to react." As if right on cue, she received a text message from Changbin who wanted to check in on her. 

Miyoung said as she left the room to leave Naya alone. That way the younger girl could call her boyfriend if she wanted to. Naya let out a sigh, hoping her friend was right when her phone rang. It was Changbin. 

"Na, I know we said to post at midnight. But I feel like doing it now, to get it out of the way." 

Changbin had this feeling Naya must have been very nervous for the announcement. So, he thought that this would help deal with it. It really didn't matter when the post happened.

 "Miyoung Unnie did mention I've been stress packing... So, I guess doing it now would be better than waiting a few more hours with nerves." Naya was feeling grateful Changbin suggested it.

Dear Heaven,

A few months ago, I had to share the news with you that I had to end my relationship. The reason being conflict of schedules.

I know many of you were very sad to find out. Some of you, were happy. I'm quite aware of that. Even though the negative words had an effect on me, I made sure not to let them get to me. Together with my friends, I was able to be happy again.

So, now, you might be wondering where this is heading too. I wanted to personally tell you that my members tried their hardest to help me. Not only did they convince our manager and our CEO, but Stray Kids's CEO and manager to line up our busy schedules.

YES... My relationship with Changbin is officially back on track!!!

The fans were surprised when the news came out that Naya and Changbin got back together. Most of them were very excited and happy as they knew the two were made for each other. Of course, a few of them would have rather wanted them to stay away from one another.

"How does it feel now that everyone knows again?" Eunji entered the bedroom to see how Naya was doing when she saw the post.

"A huge weight lifted from my shoulders. I felt like I was lying this whole time."

Eunji eventually left Naya alone, when the latter's phone rang again. It didn't take her by surprise at all when the caller's ID showed it was her boyfriend. 

"Na, how are you feeling with the news being out now?" Changbin asked, with the worry in his voice hearable. 

Although he was very excited he didn't have to hide anymore that he got back together with Naya, he wanted to make sure that she was too. 

"I feel a lot better, Bin. I want to know what the fans will say about it, but... I know that's a bad idea."

Naya looked at the open suitcase. She was looking forward to the vacation, especially now, since she was talking to Changbin.

"Are you still packing?" Naya hummed in response, laying down on her bed to focus on the call with her boyfriend.

"Took a break though." She let out a chuckle, she definitely felt a lot better now. 

"Do you want me to end the call so you can continue?" She immediately let him know that it wasn't necessary. 

She had enough time to pack. And just like that, they spend the rest of their free time together on the phone, talking about whatever comes to mind.

I've been wanting to write a chapter about them going on a vacation together. So, next chapter, you will read how the happy couple spend their first official vacation!!
