Chapter 19 - The rooftop

They tried being as secret as they could be. But their friends figured out something was going on. A groupchat got created with the eight boys and four girls by Chan and Eunji. So, Changbin and Naya had to tell them the truth. They were, of course, annoyed it had been kept a secret. However, they were happy knowing the Nabin ship left the docks.

Though, when they tried meeting up at one of the dorms, they never really had the privacy they wanted. So, Naya met up with Changbin at his sister's apartment like before. Even if she could tease the both of them as well.

The night was warm, so they had been staying on the balcony to look at life outside, on the streets. It was getting late, but they had no intention to leave just yet. Naya was tired and tried hiding the yawn escaping her lips.

Changbin noticed and convinced her to let him take her back to the dorm. First, he wanted to take her to another place where he occasionally would go to whenever he visited his sister.

As Changbin led them to the highest floor, Naya wondered where he was taking her. Following behind them, they climbed up some stairs that led them to a door.

"I used to come here often to get away from all the chaos and put my thoughts together." Naya gawked at the beautiful view in front of her.

They admired a bit from the view. Only, Changbin wasn't actually. He stared at Naya instead, finding her even more beautiful than the view itself. She noticed, shivering from the cold yet feeling her cheeks heat up.

"I should have brought you up here sooner." Naya looked up at Changbin, feeling breathless when she realized how close they were.

He brought her even closer by her waist, one hand against the back of her neck. Their eyes met and so, Changbin could tell Naya didn't want him to stop.

The distance between them got smaller when Changbin brought their lips together. Their first kiss, Naya's first kiss in general. She was a little hesitant but copied his movement to kiss him back.

When they pulled away from their first yet short kiss, Changbin chuckled as he noticed Naya was flustered by what happened. She hit his arm, hiding her face away behind her hands. She was a little embarrassed because she never thought this would happen, that she would enjoy it.

"Let me take you home." Changbin grabbed Naya's hand and brought her back inside to head to the elevator, toward the lobby.

"I'm getting tired." He stopped in his tracks, crouching down in front of her to carry Naya on his back.

They stayed silent on their way to Blue Ivy's dorm. When they arrived, Changbin realized Naya had fallen asleep on their way, even though she wasn't in the most comfortable position.

He carefully reached for her keys in her jacket, opening the dorm's door. Miyoung was still awake when she saw Changbin bring a sleeping Naya in their room. He placed her down on her bed and pressed a kiss against her forehead before leaving the dorm.
