That night Carol slept in her ancient factory brick walled apartment lounge while a train went by early in the morning. She sat up and switched the lounge lamp on and fished her most current read off of the coffee table in front of the couch. 'May I join you?' asked Loki. She looked up and saw Loki standing in the passage between the wall and the kitchen. 'I don' t mind. There's the TV and some books if you'd like. ' Carol offered sitting up straight.

'What an interesting book. "Violet Haze". How fascinating. Do tell. What is it like to read Midgard Ian books?' he asked curiously, looking into her eyes. Loki began messaging Carol's feet as she explained the story. 'I guessed that spoiling the story for you then you wouldn' t have to read the book then. ' She finished grinning. He took her hand into his and they were silent for a while. The sun began to rise, Carol rose from the couch to make breakfast.' Would you like bacon and eggs or just boring old chocolate flavored cheereos?'' What would cheereo taste like?' Loki asked curiously again.' Well. I will let you. Find out for yourself. You can choose next time what you'd like. ' Carol answered.

In the mean time, Fury was starting to doubt himself and called upon Carol to make sure that Loki wasn't up to mischief. 'Actually he' s doing awesome. Managed to stay well behaved today and had questions since this morning. He had Cheereos this morning. ' Carol answered happily. 'Thank you for the relief. I really am, starting to doubt my decision. I might even regret it.' Fury said in relief before saying their goodbyes and putting the phone down. He turned to Thor who stood there patiently. 'If he behaves more often he is staying, Thor. Do you understand?' Thor nodded his head. The next day after lunch, Valkyrie got down one knee and Thor looked at her with confusion as she pulled out a small box. 'Thor, son of Odin. Will you marry me?' she asked nervously. Thor said happily 'Yes. In every way I will make you feel like you have nothing to worry about.' She laughed. 'Unless it's a our own kid making both of us worried. I want to make you a very happy man. You' re gonna be a dad soon. 'Valkyrie and Thor were applauded by strangers.
