Avengers : A New Start

Part 6

'Get up, bastard!!!' the man said as he grabbed Loki by his clothes. Then the landlord, named Derek threw Loki against the wall and grabbed his throat.

'Where is Carol. Huh, can you tell me that.' Derek sneered pulling out his gun and pointing it at Loki's head. 'Go.. To hell.' Loki spat. Angry, Derek said 'Before I pull this trigger, I will give you fifteen seconds to tell me where Carol is. Fifteen... Fourteen...'

Just then the closet door opened up creepily and Derek let go of Loki and moved towards it. Carol moved closer and closer. The moment she was close enough for him to see, Carol said 'Here's your rent!!!' She then hit Derek with a photon blast and he went flying through the bedroom. Knowing that she committed a crime, Carol already knew that the police wouldn't listen since she had already made dozens of case against Derek with several other tenants who were all victims of Derek's. Yet the department had ignored their claims and brushed aside the situation until now. Loki was in the hospital and the police finally listened to Carol and the tenants. Well all of them. So they decided to leave it and the money was finally given back and Carol could now pay her debts.

She thanked Loki for his help and mistakingly kissed him. Once Carol had realized what she'd done, she pulled away from him and apologized to him about it. 'Don' t apologise. It's fine. ' Loki assured her and pulled her closer to kiss her. From then on they were dating and married after six years. Soon they were having a baby. A year later Thor and Valkyrie were having one.

The two couples were discussing over lunch one afternoon about housing, bedrooms and location, etc. 'Maybe, living in the same neighborhood just seperate homes.' Thor suggested before slipping a mouthful of ramen. 'But where? I don't know if Vivian street is a good one. Carol' s only three months away from birth. ' Loki said unsure.
'When's the baby due?' asked Valkyrie before finishing her salad. 'August. Your due date?' Carol answered. 'April, next year.' Valkyrie and Carol laughed together.
