I stare into the face of the one and only Maximus "you" he breaths "I should have known, nobody else could be so beautiful"

"You planned this" I start to walk away from Maximus "you knew it was me you ran into"

"I should have put the pieces together Tia, I've never seen anyone else here with hair like that" his fingers twirl my hair "and those eyes" his hazel eyes stare straight into my bright blue ones "I've never seen anyone else with those blue eyes, except.."

"Hey!" Corey runs up "what are you doing with her?"

"Cor- ugh Alex, it's fine I was just heading back to the compound. Don't pay mr.Thames any mind" he walks off

"I don't believe I told you my last name before ms.Rose"

"You're the most powerful man alive, how could I not know your last name?" He shrugs

"I'll walk you back" he guides me through the doors and back to my room. I walk up to my door "goodnight, darling" my head pounds, he walks away.

"Do you call everyone darling?" I call out to him, holding my head

"No, only one person, but she knows that" he walks out and I head into my room

"Maybe he has changed?" I lock my door, get changed and head to bed. In the morning I change into combat boots, jeans, and a grey sweater. As I head down to breakfast I'm stopped by blackheart

"Tia, I need you to help me with something"

"Anything" I say, leaning against the wall

"I need you to update the training center, boys are getting to used to the equipment and they need a change of scenery"

"I have the perfect thing in mind. I can start now if you like"

She nods "perfect, most of the boys are hungover so no training today but I would like it to be done as soon as possible" I nod and head to the training center. I clear everything to a corner and look at the empty space I get to build on. That's when my eyes land on the table of parts. After two hours of building I have an almost completed training center. I twist the wrench to tighten a screw

"Needs to be tighter" Corey walks up next to me "little more, there you've got it darling" flashbacks flood through my head as Corey realizes what he said "oh no.." memories run through my head, max, the lab, the death, the pain "Ally, Ally come back. It's just memories, remember the present" present....corey, jack, Ian, Kai, compound.

"When will this stop...?" I mutter and lean back on the wall I was screwing in.

"I'm so sorry I didn't mean to" Corey apologizes

"It's fine, the dreams have been coming back to, slowly...."

"Ally let's take a break and get you back to your room"

"No I need to finish" I try to tighten the screw again but I'm to weak

"Come on" Corey picks me up and carries me into my room and shuts the door "lay here" he lays me on the bed

"No duh, I was gonna lay on the window" he rolls his eyes and I sit up "Corey" I whisper, He nods. We sit in silence, not leaving each other's eyes. Corey leans in, I do the same. Our lips touch. Corey's hands cup my face. My mind races and Corey pulls away

"Stop thinking so much, it's hurting my head" I tilt my head in question "I can tell what your thinking"

"You can read minds!!"

I jump up "what? How? When?"

"Slow down, you totally killed the mood" he chuckles

"It's your fault for reading my mind" I cross my arms "I thought you could tell when people are lying?"

"I can do both, and I don't read your thoughts voluntarily, it just happens"
