After deciding not to change I walk to the training room and find that nobody has arrived yet so I walk right up and sit down at a table covered in spare parts and tools. I could spend my whole life here!! I smile as my hands fly across the table to get parts and begin to build my favorite gadget. When I'm almost finished tightening the last screw A group of guys walk up to me "Hey new dude! what are you building?" I smirk and put on the rocket boots.
"An original design" I stomp once with my left foot to turn the boots on, then I run toward the group and jump in the air, sending me flying above them and everyone else.
"Woah!"
"He can fly!!" Suddenly someone chucks a screwdriver at my boot and I come crashing to the ground yet I still land on my feet somehow. "Its a girl!" I feel my hood and its not on my head. A blonde boy with bright blue eyes walks up to me slowly.
"What's your name?"
"Tia Rose" He nods
"Come with me..EVERYONE ELSE! BACK TO TRAINING!" All of the boys run around and the boy pulls me out into the hall "What are you doing here"
"Excuse me?"
"What..are..you..doing..here"
"B-blackheart wanted me to join and"
"I don't care what Blackheart said. Maximus is going to find you, you need to get out of here and hide Ally" Suddenly I know exactly who the blonde haired boy is
"Corey?" I whisper, he nods "Corey Im so glad your alright!" I hug him and he hugs me back.
"I'm so glad you finally made it out, I go by Alec here, when did you leave?"
"Two days ago, he almost found me but as you can see I look completely different!" He nods
"Did he hurt you after I left?" I wipe a single tear off my cheek
"A lot worse than before, since I got older and" I wipe more tears "he took it away from me to many times to count." Corey sits us down on a bench.
"I'm so sorry, I should have brought you with me, before he hurt you and kept you in a lab"
"If I hadn't stayed I wouldn't be the girl I am today"
"Broken and hurt" I shake my head
"Strong and smart. The only thing that can hurt me now is the memory's"
"Don't tell me you have it too" I nod "Just another reason why You should've left with me! Ally god d*mmit! Cant you see?!? He hurt you! Its all my fault!" Corey slams his fist into the wall
"Corey! please! Stop it your hurting yourself for the past"
"THATS JUST THE THING ALLY! ITS NOT ALL IN THE PAST! I RELIVE THAT LIFE EVERY F*CKING DAY!" Corey sighs and pulls up his sleeves and I see numerous scars. He points to one "This one is for being stupid enough to run away and get caught by Max" He points to another "This ones for being cowardice when Max punched you at only 9 years old" He points to yet another scar "This ones from not letting you escape with me, and every other cut is for not going back for you" I finally let the tears fall and hug Corey close. I look at corey crying on my shoulder and I think to myself What have I done to you?
