Class 1A had began their patrols.

Y/n and Bakugou were patrolling their section of the food and retail district. The former continuously kept getting distracted by the food shops and the explosive boy had to keep dragging her away from salivating near the food and creeping out the vendors.

"Cmon dumbass," Bakugou complained rolling his eyes at Y/n yet again looking through the window of a bakery surveying the pretty looking bakes.

"Yeah, yeah I'm coming hedgehog. They just look so good and I'm starvinggg." Y/n whined.

Bakugou scoffed. "Dumbass, you just had a whole box of doughnuts. You shouldn't even be eating on the job."

"Oh cmon, it's just a patrol in a very peaceful city. The worst that could happen is me dying of boredom. And it'll be all your fault."

Bakugou rolled his eyes at her dramatics.

Y/n tugged his arm and whined "Foooood. Hedgehoggg give me fooood."

"No."

"Pleaseeeeeee."

"No."

"Pleaseeeeeeeeeeee."

Bakugou ignored her and continued walking.

Y/n huffed and crossed her arms, "Asshole."

"Hurry up, princess."

Y/n scrunched her nose and ran to catch up.

Aizawa observed his class from the top of the highest building in the city. His phone began to ring in his pocket, he took it out and glanced at the caller ID. Aizawa sighed, rolled his eyes and answered the call preparing himself for the loud volume of Present Mic.

"Hey hey Shota!"

"Why did you call, loudmouth?"

"Just wanted to check up on you. Isn't it cold up there, spying on your class?"

"I'm not spying on them. I'm observing them."

"Po-tay-to, pot-ah-to. You're watching them patrol the city without their knowledge. How is that not spying?"

"I'm assessing them without their knowledge, there's a difference."

"Don't you think it's a little unfair?"

"What is?"

"Testing them, duh. They don't know, they haven't prepared and it's just unfair."

"Mic, you know better than anyone the life of a hero is unfair. They need to be ready for any surprises, including surprise tests. Besides, they're just patrolling, if they mess this up it shows their lack of maturity."

"I mean, I can tell you that most of them will treat this as a tour around the city."

Aizawa sighed. "You're not wrong. I've already seen Ashido and Kirishima ditch Iida and run into various shops. Bakugo and Y/n keep bickering and Y/n keeps eating. Kaminari's already shocked himself in an attempt to impress Jirou who's now stuck with babysitting the idiot. And that's not even the half of it."

Present Mic chuckled, "It's a surprise that they've faced the League of Villains and worse when really they're still just kids."

A small sad smile graced Aizawa's face, "They've gone through more than they should have."

"Let them be kids, Shota. Don't be too harsh."

"Yeah," he replied, "I won't."

Takeda whistled as he walked down the street, hands in his pockets. Today was a good day for him. He'd just collected the debt he was owed from one of the many poor idiots that worked for him and now he was 200k richer than yesterday. They'd thought they were free of him, and he chuckled to himself as he remembered the look of despair when he told the ragged man the interest he was still owed. A nice sum of 50k. Being a loan shark was pretty fun. He had more money than he knew what to do with, plenty of clients that basically wasted their life trying to pay off their debts and it made it easy for him to find people to do his dirty work.

Maybe he'd treat himself to a drink. Call one of his old drinking buddies. He'd been working too much after all. Ever since he'd become head of a little underground empire and expanded his territory into this little city. It wasn't easy staying hidden from the authorities. But the lack of police and heroes thanks to this city's peaceful reputation made it the perfect hiding spot for him. No one even new his face or name which made it even easier to walk around in broad daylight free of suspicion and threats from rivals and authorities alike.

As he walked into the bank, Takeda spotted a tiny purple child that reminded him of grapes hanging onto thin air drooling. What on earth? Shaking his head he pulled out the 200k he'd just received. Don't wanna be carrying this much cash around if I can help it, he thought to himself.

After depositing his money Takeda walked through the alleys of the city as he made his way towards his safe apartment. No one knew about this place because he rarely spent time there but he made sure to have one just in case something happened. Although he preferred the less dangerous occupation of a loan shark, he'd somehow got himself involved in the drug empire which brought a lot more enemies. So, even though it was mostly paranoia he ensured that he kept things close to himself including his home and location.

Bending down to stroke his neighbour's cat, he fished his house key out of his pocket and straightened up to unlock the door. As he entered, shutting the door behind him, chucking his keys onto the dish beside the front door he froze. The house was extremely, unusually hot. Takeda began to sweat, from the sweltering heat or from fear he didn't know.

He slowly walked further into the house. There was a silhouette in his home office. A tall man with a mop of black hair, standing beside his desk watching his papers burn. Blue fire shot from the stranger's hands, engulfing Takeda's desk.

Dabi smirked, hearing the snake standing at the doorway of the office and turned around.

"Hello there, traitor."

"Who the fuck are you? What are you doing in my house?" Takeda snapped.

"You should be nicer to me. I could kill you right here, right now."

"You can try." Takeda scoffed.

"A little too brave for my liking. Maybe a few burns would help with that." Dabi replied and shot blue flame in Takeda's direction.

"Shit!" Takeda dodged but was too slow and the sleeve of his black jacket caught fire. As he struggled putting it out, Dabi walked in front of the burning desk.

"The League isn't happy with you, Takeda."

"The League is failing. It's weak and people know it."

"So you thought you'd try your luck and take charge here did you?"

"I did and it was the best decision of my life. I'm rich and powerful now."

"You're still a traitor. Selling out the Nomu warehouses was a pretty good move on your part I have to admit. Got you immunity from the police and cleared your criminal record. But you really should've covered up your tracks better. I like you, I really do, you take risks and I respect that. Unfortunately I've been ordered to kill you."

Takeda laughed. "People have tried, scarface."

Dabi clicked his tongue, "What's your quirk?"

"You'll have to wait to find out, prick."

And then the house exploded.
