Clashes | Bakugou x Reader

The rest of 1A had finally arrived and everyone was sitting attentively facing Todoroki at the front of the room.

"So," Todoroki began holding the paper in front of him, "the pairings for the patrol are as follows:

- Kaminari and Jirou - the former barely able to contain his excitement and the latter visibly groaning.
- Tsuyu and Uraraka
- Iida, Ashido and Kirishima - "Iida's gonna have his hands full with those two," Ojiro commented to Tokoyami.
- Sato and Tokoyami
- Yaoyorozou and Koda
- Midoriya and myself
- Sero and Aoyama
- Mineta and Hagakure - Mineta was clearly overjoyed about being paired up with one of the girls, "At least he can't ogle Hagakure in her hero suit," Yao-momo chuckled to Jirou.
- Ojiro and Shoji
- and finally Bakugou and Y/n."

"WHAT?" Bakugou fumed at the idea of being paired up with a dumbass he could barely tolerate. Y/n managed to irritate him so easily in ways he couldn't explain or understand.

"Oh relax asshole. I'm not exactly overjoyed to be paired up with you either."
"Besides you got the good end of the deal." Y/n said smugly.

"What in hell are you on about?"

"Your partner is me, a delight to have and a blessing on this world." Y/n replied smirking. "And I," she sighed, "get you."

Bakugou looked like he was about to burst.

"Ok! That's enough Bakugou and Y/n interaction for today," Kirishima interjected slightly tugging Bakugou away from Y/n.

"God knows what's gonna happen during the patrol." Uraraka muttered.

"As long as I'm not patrolling near them I don't care." Ashido replied back.

1A went on to divide the city area up between themselves ignoring the seething looks Bakugou and Y/n were sending each other from across the room.

A few days later

It was the day of the patrol and the class were getting ready for the day. Ashido and Y/N were in Y/n's room, Ashido chatting to Y/N , laying on the bed, as she finished up getting changed into her hero costume.

"Y/N?"

"Yeah?" The girl replied struggling to gather her hair in a high ponytail.

"Why'd you always piss Bakugou off? It's like you have a death wish."

Y/N laughed lightly, "No real reason. It's a little fun to see the vein popping out of his forehead. I'm, starting to think I should give it a name but if I mention it to Hedgehog's face then I'd probably get hurt for that one for sure."

"OH, please do. I wanna see his face." Mina laughed.

"Yeah. How about no."

"Aw man. But, to be honest I think Bakugou doesn't hate you. I mean, if it were anyone else he'd have set off an explosion in your face for sure."

"Hmm, maybe I should push my luck."

"Do you want to survive today or not?"

"Not." Y/N answered immediately.

"Girl, what."

"..."

"..."

"Ok then." Ashido sighed.

"Hey idiots," Bakugou knocked on the door and called, "we gotta go. Stop primping and get out here."

"Yes Hedgehog we're coming, relax."

Bakugou hit the door hard once and stomped away. Y/N laughed.

1A had gathered outside the school bus and had already started to file on. Ashido and Y/N, being late of course, were the last ones onto the bus. On the bus, Kirishima had left a space next to him for Ashido who grinned hugely when seeing Kaminari and, somehow, Jirou across from them.
