"Spend 2 months here at UA as a student in the hero course. If you don't like it by the end of those 2 months you can leave."

It was the following monday after the villain attack at the shopping centre. Class 1A were waiting for their homeroom teacher to show up. Aizawa was running late Iida informed the class but he didn't know why.

"I wonder why Mr Aizawa's running late?" Midoriya asked no one in particular.

"He probably just overslept." Replied Uraraka.

Tsuyu arched a brow, "Even if Mr Aizawa seems lazy he wouldn't miss class because of that."

"Well, what do you think?"

"Maybe we're getting a new student?"

"Why do you think that?" Kirishima asked.

"I mean, class 1B got a new student didn't they? The Shinso boy from the general studies course that fought Midoriya in the sports festival was transferred over wasn't he? So, that means 1B now has 21 students and we have 20."

"But why would Mr Aizawa accept a new student so late into the year?" Yaoyorozu questioned.

Before Tsuyu could reply with her theory that Y/n could be the new student since Aizawa had taken an interest in her Aizawa walked in...... with Y/n in tow.

Gasps of shock could be heard echoing throughout the room as 1A recognised the girl who had helped them last week.

"We have a new student joining our class," Aizawa said bored, "You already know her so introductions aren't needed."

Aizawa gestured to an empty seat near the back that somehow none of 1A had noticed.
"Y/n you can sit there."

(I know there are no empty seats in 1A but just bear with me please)

Y/n merely nodded and made her way to the seat Aizawa had mentioned. Ashido flashed her a smile as she passed which Y/n returned, albeit a much more subdued but still genuine version.

Aizawa started talking about the shopping centre villain attack giving each student feedback on how they approached the situation and how they could improve.

Y/n started zoning out staring outside the window she was sitting next to. She didn't think Aizawa would comment on her performance. She was wrong, of course.

"And Y/n." Aizawa said.

Y/n's eyes shot toward the front where Aizawa was standing. She straightened up a little in her seat.

"Yes?"

"You have strong use of your quirk and successfully protected those people," But... Y/n thought, "but I have the feeling that you wouldn't have been able to keep that shield up for much longer if you hadn't knocked that villain out."

Y/n nodded slightly confirming Aizawa's suspicions. She was pretty adept at using her quirk but performing large scale moves like that shield drained a lot of her power quickly. That was one of things she wanted to improve on.

"Alright then. Wear your hero costumes and meet in Gym Gamma." Aizawa ordered.

The girls were changing into their hero costumes in the girls changing room. Ashido and Uraraka were in the middle of telling Y/n the story of how Mineta tried to peek into the girls changing room.

"Luckily Jirou used her quirk on the purple perv and stabbed his eye!" Ashido finished off enthusiastically.

Y/n arched a brow, "Grape boi is really that bad huh?" Y/n clicked her tongue, "I would teach him a lesson but it looks like Jirou already has. Multiple times." Y/n smiled at Jirou who smiled tentatively back.
