(Red's pikachu will be Pikachu R and Ash's pikachu will be Pikachu A. That way you won't get confused.)

"I wanna battle!" Pikachu growled. "Fine, but don't let your anger get the best of you. We don't want to injure his pokemon brutally." Ash replied. Ash held out his arm while saying, "I choose you!" Pikachu ran down his arm and jumped onto the battlefield. Apparently, Red had the same idea, because he shouted, "Let's go!" Red's Pikachu jumped off his shoulder and onto the battlefield.
"Quick attack!" Red commanded. Pikachu R went in a zigzag line heading towards Ash's pikachu. "Pika pika pika pika pika!" Ash just waited until Pikachu R was close enough and then Pikachu A looked at Ash and Ash nodded. Then Pikachu A dodged the attack almost as fast as the speed of light. "Now, use thunderbolt." Ash said. *Red's Pikachu is bound to be strong so use 37% power.* Ash said through aura. Pikachu A nodded it's head and ran in close to Pikachu R, then unleaded a mighty thunderbolt. But Red's Pikachu just barely dogged it and it landed with a thud on the ground. "Come on Pikachu!" Red shouted.
Pikachu R quickly recovered and waited for a command. "Iron tail!" Red ordered. Pikachu R made it's tail glow silver and ran in fast to use iron tail. "Pika pika pika pika chu-pika!" It jumped into the air and spun and hit Ash's Pikachu as hard as it could. *Fake it.* Ash commanded. Ash's Pikachu struggled to get up. "Alright, trap it with electro web!" Red called out. Pikachu R created an electro ball and threw it. It transformed into an electro web and landed on Ash's Pikachu. "Use thunderbolt, and follow it up with iron tail!" Red ordered.
Pikachu R let out a strong lightning bolt out of it's body and it hit Pikachu A. Then Red's Pikachu made it's tail become hard and it used iron tail on Pikachu A. Pikachu A looked at Ash and Ash nodded. While Pikachu R was still close, Pikachu A used iron tail too break out of the electro web and hit Red's pikachu. Red's pikachu slid back quite a bit, but it quickly planted it's tail in the ground to stop moving back. Ash's Pikachu ran back over to Ash's side, awaiting further commands.
"Use thunderbolt!" Red shouted. Pikachu R obeyed the command and shot a bolt of lightning towards Ash's pikachu. "Intercept it with electro web!" Ash ordered. *29% power.* Ash added. Pikachu A quickly created a ball of lightning at the end of it's tail. "Pika pika pika pika pika pikachu pika!" It threw the ball at Red's Pikachu. The ball of lightning opened up to form a web and it intercepted Pikachu R's thunderbolt. However, it kept on going and it hit Red's Pikachu and, having absorbed the thunderbolt, it was extra powerful.
Red's Pikachu got thrown back by the extra strong electro web, and was struggling to get back up. "Now, finish it with electro iron tackle!" Ash shouted. *Only 15% power on each attack.* Pikachu A made it's tail shiny for iron tail and then started to create another electro ball on it's tail. Then he started to run really fast into a volt tackle, all three moves combining to create electro iron tackle!
"Intercept it with thunderbolt and iron tail!" Red called desperately. Pikachu R made it's tail shiny and ran towards Ash's Pikachu, unleashing a powerful thunderbolt along the way. Ash's Pikachu just ran right through it and then both Pikachus' tails met, but with the added electro ball, Pikachu A over powered Red's Pikachu. Pikachu R was thrown to the ground. "Pi pika..." thud. Red's pikachu hit the ground, fainted.
"Red's Pikachu is unable to battle. Ash's Pikachu is the winner, therefore, Ash is the winner of the match!" Clemont shouted.
Red was shocked beyond belief! How could this new kid beat him?!
"Pikachu return." Ash said. Pikachu ran back to Ash happily and jumped back onto his shoulder. "Did you see me? Did you see?!" Pikachu asked. "Yes I saw, I was the one who told you what to do!" Ash replied. "Not you! I know you saw! I'm talking about Mew!" Pikachu said exasperatedly. "Yeah, yeah. You beat him. So what? He's not nearly as strong as any of Ash's Pokémon." Mew said, her nose up in the air. "What?! Excuse me, but I didn't see anyone else volunteering!" Pikachu said. "Well no duh, genius. You know I can't battle unless we're catching a Pokémon, and I usually don't even get to battle then!" Mew answered. "Excuses, excuses." Pikachu sighed. "Hmph. I probably could have beaten him 10x faster if I had the chance!" Mew stated. "What?! No way!" "Yes way! After all, I am a legendary." Mew smirked. "Grrr! I-" Pikachu was interrupted by Ash. "Guys just stop! Your driving me crazy!" Ash yelled. "Hehe..." Pikachu said. "Sorry!" Mew said. Ash sighed in annoyance.
Red looked at Ash, but he didn't seem to notice. 'Weird. The kid's Pikachu seems to be yapping at thin air and he just yelled something about 'you two stop' but there's only his Pikachu. There is definitely something weird going on here, and I'm gonna find out what. But that can wait. I need to take Pikachu to the Pokémon Center.' Red thought to himself.
He picked up his Pikachu carefully and said, "It's not over kid. Let's go gang." The Shadow Gang left and the gang walked up to Ash.
"Wow, thanks!" May exclaimed. "Yeah! That battle was amazing!" Dawn added. "Mhm. But, why did you help us? I thought you hated us?" Drew said. "Yeah, I'm with Drew. I thought you hated us." Gary said. Ash sighed and said, "I couldn't let the bullies keep on bullying people. I don't hate you, but I don't like you either. You're just annoying. On my first day you tried to snoop through my stuff when I was gone." "Fair enough. Wait, how'd you know about that?" Max asked. "I have my ways." Ash answered. 'Dang, I shouldn't have mentioned that. Now they'll have questions.' Ash thought.
"What do you mean, ways?" Brock asked. "Why were you mean at lunch that day, too?" Serena asked. "Oh yeah, and there was a weird barrier around your bed. Then, when we tried to follow you into the forest a few days later, we hit another one. How do you explain that?" Misty asked, suspicious. "I don't." Ash answered. "You don't what?" Gary asked. "I don't explain. I haven't got to tell you nuisances anything." Ash said, clearly annoyed.
"That's not how you should treat friends!" Serena said. "Friends? Who said we were friends?" Ash asked. "Well, you saved us so-" "Just because I saved you, doesn't mean we're friends! Like I said, I just had to stop them from bullying people! Now, if you'll excuse me, I have somewhere to be!" Ash shouted. He stormed off. "I told you they'd get more annoying." Pikachu shook his head. "Ugh."

The gang watched him leave, sadly. They thought they had just gained the friendship of the strongest kid at the academy. "Well, so much for that." Drew said. "Wow. Just wow." May said. "How can he be so mean!" Dawn asked. "At least he's not as bad as the Shadow Gang." Gary said. Paul rolled his eyes. "But his words seem more hurtful for some reason." Serena said. They all sighed. "I guess we kind of owe him though." Brock said. "What!? But he was mean to Serena that day!" Bonnie said. "But he saved us from the Shadow Gang." Drew added. "So then I guess that makes us even." Clemont replied. The group nodded their heads, agreeing with Clemont.
