Part #2: Battles!
Previously:
"I can't wait to watch you kick butt!" Satin cheered. "Yay!" Sunshine exclaimed. Ash smirked. "So then, let the Battle War begin."

The first 8 battles went by slowly, but surly. The winners were as follows:
Battle 1. Alex
Battle 2. Silver
Battle 3. Reina
Battle 4. Green
Battle 5. Cross
Battle 6. Hilda
Battle 7. Tai
Battle 8. Camila
Now it was lunch, and some students were discussing the battles, while the people who went to watch the contest were discussing that. Friends talked about what they'd seen and stuff like that.
Ash was currently in the forest, preparing for his match.
"Not that any of you need practice, but we should train anyway." he said. His pokemon nodded and got back to work. Ash sighed. Just why was he participating in this tournament anyway? At least his pokemon could battle, play along with their prey before defeating them.
After Lunch
Everyone piled back into the stadium again, except the students who went to watch the Contest Collision.
"Next up we have, Hilbert of Sage Academy vs. Ethan of Brightport Academy!" Professor Sycamore announced. Hilbert appeared from the left side tunennel on left, just as Ethan appeared from the one on the right.
"This will be a 3 vs 3. No substitutions allowed. Will trainers please let out their pokemon!" The referee said.
"Let's go!" Hilbert shouted. "I choose you!" Ethan said. "Braaa!" Out from Hilbert's pokeball came a braviary. "Garrr!!" Out from Ethan's pokeball came a shiny gyarados. "Battle Begin!"
"Use sky attack!" Braviary swooped down down, gaining speed. "Hydro Pump!" Gyarados shot out a powerful jet of water, knocking braviary out of the sky. It quickly recovered. "Use air slash!" Braviary flapped it's wings and white slashes were sent at gyarados. "Crunch!" Gyarados opened it's mouth and crunched down on the air slashes. "Now use rain dance!" Gyarados did a sort of dance and rain poured down. "Superpower!" Braviary swooped down and held it's claws infront of it as they glowed. He clawed at gyarados. "Use hydro pump!" Gyarados set another jet of water witch sent the bird away. "Finish with hyper beam!" Ethan shouted. Gyarados began to charge a hyper beam up. "Use brave bird!" Braviary came towards gyarados at a fast speed, glowing blue and red. At the same exact moment, braviary crashed into gyarados, and gyarados let out a hyper beam. A cloud of dust rose up.
When it cleared, it revealed a fainted braviary and a barely standing gyarados. "Braviary is unable to battle! Gyarados is the winner! Please send out your next pokemon." the referee said. Just then, gyarados fainted. "Gyrados is now unablee to battle will other trainer please send out their next pokemon!" the referee added.
Hilbert returned braviary with a "thanks", and Ethan did the same. "Come on out!" Hilbert released his next pokemon. "Rawww!" Hilbert's pokeball revealed a galvantula(I have no idea what noise galvantula makes so don't hate on meh). "Let's do this!" Ethan let out his next pokemon. "Roarrrr!" Dragonite came out. "Battle Begin!"
"Dragon claw!" Ethan shouted. Dragonite's claw glowed green and became bigger. It rushed at galvantula. "Agility!" Galvantula dodged the attack. "Now use electro web!" Galvantula sent a web of electricity at dragonite. It trapped dragonite. "Sucker punch!" Galvantula's fist glowed and it punched dragonite. "Dragonite! Use hurricane!" Dragonite spun around and broke through the electro web. "Now use dragon dance!" Dragonite used dragon dance and got stronger. "Use discharge!" Hilbert commanded. Galvantula let out a wild discharge. Dragonite kept in the hurricane and the discharge had little effect. "Now use dragon rush!" Dragonite came out of the hurricane and a purple dragon energy surrounded it as it flew towards galvantula. "Wait...now use agility!" Galvantula waited until dragonite was about to hit and then used agility to dodge. "Now, gastro acid!" Galvantula shot balls of acid at dragonite It got poisoned. "Now use absorb!" Galvantula scuttled up and used absorb. Now dragonite was really weak. "Now finish with discharge!" Galvantula let out a wild charge of electricity. It toasted dragonite and dragonite was revealed to be fainted.
"Dragonite is unable to battle! Galvantula is the winner. Will trainer please send out their final pokemon!" the referee announced.
"Thanks." Ethan said, returning dragonite. "Alright. Come on out!!" Ethan shouted. "Tyyphlo!!!" Typhlosion came out. "Battle Begin!"
"Typhlosioin, gyro ball!" Typhlosion rolled into a ball and rolled at galvantula. It kept hitting galvatula and finally, it fainted. "Galvantula is unable to battle! Typhlosion is the winner! Will trainer please send out their last pokemon." the referee said.
"You did great." Hilbert returned galvantula. "Let's gooo!" He let out his last pokemon. "Emboarrr!" Emboar came out. "Battle Begin!"
"Emboar, arm thrust!" Emboar's arm glowed and it ran at typhlosion. "Smokescreen!" Typhlosion opened it's mouth and smoke came out, quickly covering the battlefield. "Inferno!" Suddenly, emboar was on fire. "Emboar, use hammer arm!" Emboar felt around, trying to find typhlosion. Finally, it hit it. "Tyyyy!!" The smokescreen cleared away. "Use flamethrower!" Emboar releaser a flamethrower at typhlosion. "Use swift!" Typlosion let out a bunch of stars that countered the flamethrower. "Use smog!" Emboar released a toxic smoke from it's mouth. Typshlosion got poisoned. "Now use flare blitz!" Emboar ran towards typhlosion and was surrounded by flames. Typhlosion and Ethan made eye contact, and Ethan nodded. Emboar was about to hit it, but typhlosion ducked and got smaller. Then flames erupted from it's back. Then, at the same time, the boys shouted, "FLAMETHROWER!!" Emboar and typhlosion both released a flamethrower. The flamethrowers collided and pushed each other back and forth. Finally, they exploded. A cloud of smoke rose up.
Then it cleared and it revealed a fainted emboar and a kneeling typlosion. "Emboar is unable to battle! The winner is typlosion, therefore the victory goes to Ethan!" the referee announced. Typhlosion then collapsed. A loud cheer erupted from the stadium, congradulating the two competitors as they returned their pokemon.
In The VIP Box
The gang clapped at the wonderful performance. Ash got up since his match was next. Then his rotom-phone rang. He looked at the Caller ID and frowned. Since he was called him, it was probably important. But if he missed this match, he'd be disqualified. Wait a minute-why was debating over this?! This call was much more important then some stupid academy tournament.
"Come on." He mumbled to his pokemon. The twins and mew/delcatty jumped off his lap and walked beside him. Sparkle and Ray followed. They walked out the stadium.
A'yo Ppl! Sry for not updating for so long! I was in a state of writers block, but now I'm out! Sry the battle scenes are trashy. I'm bad at this kind of stuff. I seem to find a way out of doing things I'm bad at writing by getting my character out of them 🤥🙄
