Ash, Rosa, Hilda, Hilbert, and Lyra had gotten their lunch and sat down at the table that used to only be occupied by Ash and his pokemon. Shortly after, Ethan and Brendan came and joined them. "What happened?! I looked away for a second to talk to them and you two were literally gone!!" Lyra shouted. "Sorry. We saw Ash and then, yeah." Ethan said, scratching his head as a sign of embarrassment.
"And what's up with you hanging out with the 'troublesome group'? Traitor." Ash said. "You know, they're kind of nice. They said you saved them. From...Red." Ethan said. Ash looked down.
"Yeah..." Ethan frowned. "I kind of...forgot about him. What happened anyway?" he asked. This was the question that they had all been wanting to ask. *Uh-oh. Now what?* Pikachu asked. *Umm, I could create a distraction??* Mew answered. *What's wrong?* Sunshine asked. *Uhh. It's kind of hard to explain.* Pikachu said. *Huh?* Satin asked. Pikachu and Mew sighed. *I'm sorry. But you'll have to wait 'till Ash tells you.* Pikachu responded.
"He just kind of...left." Ash half-lied. At least it wasn't a FULL lie. Ash sighed. "Sorry. I don't wanna talk about it." he said. He ate his food in silence.
With The Gang
After Ethan and Brendan left, they talked a bit more, before heading to lunch. They went to their usual table, but were surprised to see Ethan, Brendan and some other people they didn't recognize. "How are they actually sitting with him?!" May asked. "Yeah. He never sits with anyone." Dawn agreed. "Why hasn't he yelled at them yet?" Serena asked.
"Huh. How did they become friends?" Max asked. "It took them 10 minutes to be friends!" Bonnie exclaimed. "Hmph." Paul wasn't really interested. "I wonder how. He literally yelled at Serena when she tried to say 'hi'! How are they already friends?" Drew asked. "Why is he so nice to them?" Misty asked. "Maybe they already knew him." Clemont said. "Ha. Yeah right. I doubt he had any friends." Gary scoffed. "Hmm. Maybe Clemont is right." Brock said thoughtfully.
After Lunch
The students from Sage and Brightport had their own separate dorm building. Ethan, Brendan, and Hilbert shared room #28, and Lyra, Hilda, and Rosa shared room #26. They unpacked their things. While they unpacked, they conversed about stuff. The girls had come to help the boys since they finished quickly.
"I wonder why Ash hates that group so much." Ethan said. "Probably 'cuz they're annoying?" Hilda answered. "They seem so nice though." Brendan chimed in. "I dunno. I think it's just how you look at it. If you're their friend, they're nice. If your their enemy-" Hilda was cut short. "They're rude and annoying." Lyra finished. Hilda nodded and continued.
"Yeah. But I think the situation for Ash, is more like they really wanna be his friends. He is the strongest trainer in the ac-" They raised their eyebrows. "Ahem. In the world. So, you know. You get my drift." she finished, awkwardly. "That makes sense." Brendan agreed. The others nodded. "I wonder how strong the students here are." Rosa said. "Never know. Though, I doubt they'll be too much of a challenge." Hilbert said. The others nodded.
There was a knock on the door and Hilbert went to see who it was. "Ash! What are you doing here?" he asked. The others came up behind him. "I just came to see if you wanted a tour. This place is pretty big." he said. "Yeah! You could get lost in these halls! I almost did." Satin said. Of course, no one but Ash and his pokemon understood it. "Alright! Let's go on a tour. We're pretty much done unpacking, anyways." Ethan said. Ash nodded. Hilda grabbed the keycard and the group left the room, Hilda locking it behind them.
Ash gave them a tour of the school. He showed them the dorm buildings, the pool, the battlefields, the classroom buildings, the stadium, and the library. When they ended the tour, the group headed back to dorm room 28. They chatted for a while, before Ash and his pokemon went back to their room.
A little while later, they headed to Ash's home in the forest. He fed his pokemon and trained with them, while some relaxed. Satin and Sunshine played with the other eevees and eeveelutions.
About an hour later, Ash, Pikachu, Mew, Satin, and Sunshine went back to dorm #314. They lied down and drifted off to sleep.
