The quidditch game || Cedric x Reader

Chapter 9

Cedric's Pov:

"These represent very real dragons, each of which has been given a golden egg to protect. Your objective is simple, collect the egg. This you must do, for each egg contains a clue without which you cannot hope to proceed to the next task. Any questions?" Barty says looking at the four of us

"Very well. Good luck champions. Mr Diggory the sound of the cannon..." Dumbledore looked at me

I heard the sound of the cannon and got off of the tent, I was nervous but really confident.

Y/n's Pov:

"Can you please be quiet, I'm trying to figure out what's happening" I gave a death glare to Pansy

"Sorry, wait look, it's him" She pointed at Cedric getting out of the tent

He was going to fight against a DRAGON, I am worried about him, if this is only the first task, imagine what will happen at the others ones.

Everything was fine, until the dragon decided to set fire on Cedric, he escaped but that was pretty close, could he please not die, I still need to go on a date with this bitch.

"YOU CAN DO IT CED" I cheered for him

"GO CEDRIC" Cho screamed from behind me

"Ugh I hate her, gO cEdRiC, who does she thinks she is" I turned to Pansy

"His bestfriend? You need to calm down, and stop with this jealously" She answered

Finally Cedric used his mind at turned the rock next to the dragon into a dog, and ran out of the arena with the egg.
Fleur, Krum and Harry went next, Krum won the first task. After that we went back to have classes the rest of the day.

"Oi Cedric, you went pretty good in there, for a moment I thought you would die haha" I said to Cedric while entering the castle, totally ignoring Cho.

"Thank you haha, so did I" He laughed

This laugh, this fucking laugh, boy the things you do to me, ugh I hate you.

Cedric's Pov:

"I should go now, bye Ced see u later" She kissed me on the check

I blushed really hard.

"Omg are you blushing?" Cho teased me

"Hum no, stop" I pushed her at the arm

"She hates me" She looked down

"That's not true, what made u think that?" I asked her

"She completely ignored me, and that other day when I was with you, she ran away just to avoid me" She said

"You are imagining things, I'm pretty sure she loves you, u are the best person in the world, is not even possible to someone to hate you" I hugged her

"Thank you Ced, you are the best friend I could have, I'm so thankful for having u in my life" She hugged me back

"No problem hun, and Cho I think I will ask her on a date today, if she say yes, could you please help me with the place, and stuff?" I asked her

"Sure, and I am 100% sure she will say yes to you" She winked at me

Y/n's Pov:

My last class today is potions again, which means I will see Cedric, sometimes I think the Teachers made a bet with Dumbledore, to put me and him together.

"Heyy y/n, you are early today" Cedric great me as I entered the room

"I told Snape I wouldn't be late again, so here I am" I sat down and the class started

After some minutes of class Cedric passed me a piece of paper with something on it.

"What is this?" I looked at him

He pretend I wasn't talking to him, so I decided to open it.

{I am not the best with this kind of things, but hum would you like to go out with me, this weekend?}

I wrote an X at yes and gave the paper back to him, I was so calm at the outside, but at the inside I was freaking out, he asked me on a date.
