"I just don't get it why it affects her so much" Cho took a sip of her coffee
"How would you be if your toxic ex come back out of nowhere? When he leaved she was finally free, we didn't know he could be at Durmstrang and now at Hogwarts, she is still trying to process that he is back" I turned the page of the book I was reading
"Does Cedric know?" Cho asked
"I don't know, and we should not tell him, I don't think she is ready for it" I said
"You are right, he would be all protective and be suffocated is not what she need right now. But what really happened?" She looked at me
"They dated for almost 2 years, the slytherin king and queen, it looked like the perfect relationship, it was until she spent her first Christmas alone here, he got mad said y/n was cheating on him and broke up with her. One month later he apologized and they got back, but he was more possessive, jealousy and toxic" Cho gasped "She couldn't even be friends with another boy, so she decided to break up but he didn't let her do it. We still don't know what he said he was going to do if she did that, so they were dating until he went to Durmstrang, after that she felt free"
"What an asshole" She said
"Yeah..." I looked at Cho to say y/n was close
