Cedric's Pov:
I spend the whole night trying to find something I could use to breathe underwater, after a long time searching for it, I found the Bubble-Head charm. I was so nervous, what if it doesn't work.
"Hey, what's going on?" y/n asked while we got out of class
"Nothing? I think" I didn't understand what she meant
"You seem stressed" She massaged my shoulders
"Oh, I am worried about the second task" I looked to her
"Everything is going to be fine, you will nail that, don't forget that you are amazing" She smiled
"Thank you" I smiled back
Then a first year stopped us.
"Hey y/n, Mcgonagall wants to see you" He said
"Will you be here till the task?" I asked her
"Sure, probably is nothing, I will be there cheering for you, I promise" She answered and leaved
Y/n's Pov:
When I entered Mcgonagall's office I saw others students in there too, Hermione, Ron, and Fleur's sister. Weird.
"So you must be wondering why are you here, as you know, today will happen the second task, one precious thing from the champions have been taken, you." Mcgonagall said to us
It must be Fleur's sister from fleur, Ron from Harry, Hermione from Krum, and me? Oh my god, Cedric.
"You are gonna be underwater for 1 hour, but don't worry, you are safe, I need you to drink this" She gave us a blue drink
Cedric's Pov:
"Where is she?" I asked Pansy
"You were the last one with her, you should know" She said angry
"She is ur bestfriend, and I am the one that should know where she is, right" I said back
"Alright Cedric, I now that you are worried that y/n is missing right now, but you have to do the task, we can look for her later" Pansy touched my shoulder
"But she promised...." I looked down
"Welcome to the second task. Today something was stolen from each of our champions. A treasure of sorts. These four treasures, one for each champion, now lie on the bottom of the black lake. In order to win each champion need only find their
treasure and return to the surface. Simple enough. Except for this, they will have one hour to do so and one hour only. After that they'll be on
their own." Dumbledore said making me pay attention to him "You may begin at the start of the cannon."
I jumped in the water and started to look for my missing treasure. I spend a long time trying to find it, I was almost giving up when I heard a sound. A merperson. I followed the sound of his sing and found four people. Hermione, Ron, Fleur's little sister and Y/n??? Wait my treasure, her.
I quickly shouted a spell to let her free, I grabbed her and started to leave the water.
Y/n's Pov:
I opened my eyes, feeling the air on me again, I looked in front of me and Cedric was there holding me. I stared in him eyes for so long, that moment I realized how much I liked him. I pushed him closer and kissed him, he kissed me back, I felt butterflies in my stomach, it was a kiss full of passion.
"What was that?" Cedric looked at me surprised
"I am sorry, I wasn't thinking- " He stopped me kissing me again
"I liked" He said getting us out of water
Pansy comes up to me with a towel
"You must be freezing, here" She handed me it
"Thank you" I put it around my shoulders
"Attention! Attention!" Dumbledore screamed "The winner is... Mr Diggory!" Everybody cheered
"Congrats" I hugged Cedric
"I couldn't have done it without you" He winked
"Ew love birds, not here" Pansy made a disgusted facd as joke "And what about the no boys till I graduate, Miss y/n?" She smirked
"Ugh shut up" I threw my towel at her
"I told you" Cedric said
"You are so annoying" I showed him my tongue
