I got a call from my girlfriend Amethyst and we are both meeting at Wendy's cafe, at least she'll help me get my mind off things.
I was about to leave the house when Bridget called out to me.

"Where are you off to?" She asked in a bitchy tone.

"It's none of your business, shouldn't you be in your room thinking of what you did?" I said trying to change the topic.

"Shut up!! You are not going anywhere!!" She yelled spitting at my face a little.

"Excuse me!! You are not the boss of me, I can go wherever I want." I retorted.

"Going to hang out with that foolish bitch again." She said with a knowing look.

"Amethyst is a better human being than you are or will ever be, that's why you are so jealous of her!" I said and her eyes grew wide, I see I stroke a nerve.

"I don't know what she sees in you, you are a total loser." She said trying to bring me down.

"And you're a filthy whore, going to nightclubs and shit, don't forget you are sixteen, I hope you don't get pregnant soon!!" I said but she seemed unfazed by my words.

"You will not hang out with her, don't forget mom and dad said you can only hang out with my friends and Amethyst is not one of them." She said.

"Guess what!" I yelled.

"What?" She asked.

"I don't give two fucks about what dad says, I will still go and meet my girlfriend," I said boldly.

"Mom? Dad? Harper is going out with a friend of his!!" She yelled out and instantly my parents were running down the stairs, dad even almost fell.

"What is your twin sister saying? Have you forgotten that you can't have any friend that is not Bridget's friend?" My mom asked with a shocked expression and I just rolled my eyes.

"It's even worst, she is his girlfriend." She said with a glare.

"Don't you know your sister will feel bad because you have friends that are not hers? You will not leave this house to hang out with anyone!!" Mom stated firmly.

"Yes I will, I always do whatever you say, Bridget will say the most stupid things and you'll tell me not to do what she doesn't want, and say my twin sister will get upset or feel bad or something, that was the old me that cared so much about his twin," I took a deep breath trying to choose my words carefully so as not to hurt her "I have thought about my life and made a choice, whatever Bridget wants and doesn't want, I do not care, I am going out with my girlfriend," I stated calmly.

"No, you are not!!!" My dad said in a commanding tone.

"Watch me!" I said and I bolted out the door.

"Get back here!!" I heard Dad yell after me and he was even running after me, all to try to stop me from hanging out with my girlfriend, what a pity.
I reached the cafe and rushed in, I scanned the place for Amethyst and found her almost immediately, I dragged myself to where she sat.

"Hey." Amethyst greeted with a small wave.

"What's up?" I asked. I went next to her and leaned in for a kiss, sad it was a short one, I enjoyed the taste of her lips, it tasted like cherry and honey missed together then went to seat on the chair across the table.

"Nothing much, what tantrum did Bridget throw when you got home since you missed her audition?" She asked with a chuckle.

"The usual but my parents took my side surprisingly," I said remembering mom's words.
