I closed my eye and opened it, there was no snow but there was a good bed, a floor, a carpet, a wardrobe.... we were in my bedroom again, the sack bag was also on the floor.

"We are back home!!" Bridget screamed and hugged me. As I said, she is full of surprises.

"I'll go look for mom and dad!!" She said joyfully and was about to bolt out of my room.

"Wait!" I stopped her.

"What?" She asked as she turned to me.

"Change out of the elf costume disguise first and keep them," I instructed.

"Okay." She said and bolted out my room door, I picked the novel 'The Quest For Christmas' its good I read the novel if not I wouldn't have known the shortcut, just go to Santa's workshop and check around for Santa, I let out a chuckle and looked for the novel we were first in 'The Tale Of Divine Creatures'

I also changed out of my elf costume and disguise, I wore jean trousers and a red top with a black leather jacket, I kept my elf disguise in the sack bag and kept it in my wardrobe afterward I remembered that I am still with Desire life's source.

I took my phone, I had eighty missed calls from Amethyst I'll call her later, I scanned the note with a google translator, which should tell me what is written in it.

"Harper!!" Mom screamed as she barged into my room.

"Mom!" I said as I went to hug her.

"My baby, where have you both been?" She asked as she pulled away.

"I already told you where we were," Bridget said in a whiny tone.

"Your sister has gone loco so please tell us, where were you both? Be honest!" Mom said as she grabbed my shoulders and stared deep into my eyes. I know there is no way she'll believe a word I say if I tell her the truth, so time to make up a lie.

"I wanted to run away because of the way all of you treated me, she came after me and we both got lost and stranded, she told me why you both did all that you did and I forgive you for that, I love you both," I said my eyes welling up at the end of my sentence, now that I know why they did all that, I couldn't stay upset with them.

"We love you too baby, we are sorry but why did Bridget then lie that you two entered a book and went on a crazy adventure, we have been looking for you two for about eight days now, you both missed Christmas!!" Dad said curiously.

"He is lying!!" Bridget screamed in frustration.

"We are truly sorry! Bridget hit her head when we got lost, it was as though her aura was sucked out of her." I told them and winked at Bridget because I knew she knew what I was talking about.

"What?" Dad asked confused.

"It's fine, we are back home now, that's all that matters," I told her and gave her another hug.

"Okay." She said and I pulled away.

"Nice to have you back, son," Dad said and pulled me in for a hug.

"It's good to be back," I told him, we stayed like that for a while until he pulled away "I want to go see Amethyst I'll be right back," I told them and was about to leave.

"Please don't ever try to run away ever again." Mom said with a pleading look on her face.

"I won't," I assured her. I am glad none of them tried to stop me from going or scold me for being with Amethyst, I guess we are on good terms now, I just hope things remain like this.

"Mom you have to believe me!!" Bridget yelled as I left the room.

"I hope she gets her senses back soon." Mom said to dad and I chuckled. I went downstairs and out of the house to go see my girlfriend.

I should give her a call to know where she is, she picked up after the first ring "Hey baby girl." I greeted with a smile on my face.

"Harper?!! Harper where are you?!!" She asked yelling, voice filled with concern and relief.

"I am at the park," I said as I began jogging there.

"I'll be right there." She said and hung up. I reached the park a couple of minutes later, I didn't have to wait long as she got here about five minutes later, I wonder how since her house was about fifteen minutes' walk here, she ran towards me and gave me a huge bear hug.

"I have missed you!!" I told her as I hugged her back.

"Where have you been!! What happened?" She asked with tears in her eyes.

"I'll tell you later tonight over dinner, it's a date," I said with a smile.

"Oh no, I was about to leave for New York when you called...I just had to see you." She said as she looked at me with eyes filled with worry and love.

"I saw all your missed calls, I am sorry I missed them, I was not with my phone," I told her as I held her face in my hands, she leaned in and let out a sigh.

"Where were you?" She asked staring deep into my eyes.

"It's a long story." She will probably think I am crazy if I told her.

"When will you be back?" I asked. I hope she won't belong.

"In four months I'll be back," she said and her phone started ringing "I have to go, later." She told me.

"Call me when you arrive there, we will talk then," I told her as I held her hands.

"Okay bye." She said. I let go of her hand and she started walking away.

"Wait!" I stopped her.

"What?" She turned back.

"Not even a goodbye kiss," I said and she walked up to me and gave me a delicious kiss, our tongue fought for dominance, I won, of course, I wish the kiss lasted longer.

"I love you." She said as we pulled away.

"I love you too," I said and she walked away.

"I'll miss you," I yelled after her.

"Me too, we'll talk and chat." She yelled as she ran back home.

I also went back home after she disappeared from my sight and ate what mom cooked, mashed potatoes.
I laid down on my bed after I ate my food and Bridget came into my room.

"So when are we going back into that novel? The first one we were in that all my aura almost got sucked up." She asked as she plopped on my bed.

"We can go now if you want?" I told her with a sheepish grin.

"Really but we need to prepare first." She said.

"Of course," I said excitedly "but how do we get in?" I asked looking at her.

"The same way we got in the last time," Bridget said and I smiled at her.

We grabbed our cellphones and got prepared, we did what we did last time, Bridget held one end of the book and I the other, we started struggling for it, we were prepared for what came next....we teleported into the story titled 'The Tale of Divine creatures' what a fun adventure this will be.......
