"What do you mean?" I asked.
"I want to go see Santa and ask him why he never gave me a Christmas present." She said sternly.
"The female we were with last time told me that time flies by quicker here than back home so Christmas has probably passed by," I told her.
"Oh, okay." She said looking down at her feet.
"Sorry," I told her with a small smile.
"It's okay, I just want to go home." She said.
"We are almost home, let's keep moving," I told her, we soon reached the north pole, we have not yet entered it though from where we are the view is beautiful, it looks like a snow village with a giant building in the middle, I am guessing the giant building is Santa's workshop.
"What are we waiting for let's go and look for the portal but my legs hurt a lot and I am thirsty so you have to carry me on your back please." She pleaded and I let out a sigh.
"There is no more water you finished it remember, I'll carry you not because you asked but because you asked nicely." My poor back.
"Okay," I said and bent down so she could climb on my back. We entered the north pole and decided to ask one of the dwarfs walking around, the north pole looks beautiful, there are houses made of gingerbread, sweets, and even snow, and we didn't have time to take a good look at things.
"Hi excuse me," I said to a dwarf but he looked at me with a weird look probably cause Bridget was on my back.
"Why is she on your back? And what is that load that is on her back?" He asked curiously.
"Her legs hurt." I simply said.
"Why?" He asked staring at her.
"Why all the questions? I just want to ask where the portal is." I said putting my lip in a thin line.
"Okay go on and ask." He said.
"I just did," I said looking at him weirdly.
"No, you said you want to ask, you have not yet asked." He said with hand gestures.
"Huh, where is the portal?" I asked.
"It just closed another one will open in about an hour, it will open inside Santa's workshop." He said.
"Okay thank you," I said and walk away.
"What do we do in the next hour?" Bridget asked.
"How about we check out the north pole, looks like we may end up seeing Santa since the portal will be in his workshop," I told her and I felt her smile against my back.
"So what do we do first?" She asked excitedly.
"First get off my back," I said and dropped her to the ground.
"Ow! That wasn't necessary." She yelped.
"Secondly let's see what the north pole has to offer," I said rubbing my hands together.
"Let's see what they eat here and what fun things they have," Bridget said as she got off the ground.
We checked around but all we found was sweets and chocolates and toys and all are not free, we have to pay for them, the person that was selling the chocolates asked for something in exchange seems that's how they get things here, they don't use money as a means of exchange, Bridget handed me the sack bag because apparently, her back has started hurting, ugh that girl.We don't have anything worth the delicious chocolates and sweets also toys too so we skipped it, we decided to go sightseeing but there was not much to see so we just sat on a bench and watched the elf, dwarf and other creatures move about and we were starving.
