Tw: mentions of suicide (I promis this is a happy chapter)

Art isn't mine, found it on Pintrest.

Tommy slowly cracked his eyes open, being greeted by a bright summer sky and green oak leaves.

Everything seemed hazy as he slowly sat up, looking around. He paused when he saw towering walls made of Blackstone and yellow concrete. L'Manburg's walls.

He stood up and started walking, noticing how he couldn't feel the grass beneath him. Once he made it to the walls he looked up at them.

"How am I meant to get up there?"

"You float!" The sudden voice startled him, spinning around he saw Ghostbur, a happy smile on his face. "You know, like ghosts do."

"Okay, but how? How are you even here? I thought I died."

"You are dead, hence the ghost thing. But since I'm a ghost too, I can come see you. In this land, we have all our memories, and we can visit it any time we want, but once we leave we loose all our memories and we start fresh."

"Oh, so that's why you have vague idea of who you are when you came to visit us?"

Ghostbur nodded, "as for the floating thing, think about where you want to you then will yourself to go there. With enough practice you'll be able to do it without thinking."

Tommy nodded and closed his eyes, concentrating on getting to the top of the walls. Eventually he could here Ghostbur cheering, his voice distant. He opened his eyes and saw he was now level with the top of the wall. Taking a step forward, he was stood ontop of the wall. He couldn't feel it beneath his feet, but he knew it was there.

Ghostbur followed with ease, sitting down and looking over the world. There was a sea of trees and a setting sun. It was truly beautiful. Tommy sat beside Ghostbur, eyes full of wonder as he looked at the pastel red's and orange's fade into blues and purples.

"If you keep watching," Ghostbur whispered, "you'll be able to see the sun flash just before it sinks below the horizon."

Tommy nodded and kept his eyes on the sunset. He felt warm. Not physically, he couldn't feel anything physically now, but on the inside. Like that one day, just like this, ontop of the wall with his friends. He felt happy, at peace, he finally felt warm.

Tommy watched the colors shift until it was just the smallest bit of light left. He smiled as he saw the flash of light right befor the sun hid behind the trees. Ghostbur wasn't lying, it was truly amazing.

"Do you think it's time to go see the family, Ghostyinnit?" Tommy sighed and nodded. Ghostbur linked arms with him and they vanished from the world.

Back in the server, the four still sat in the nether. The tears had ended, they were just sad.

"I-I've got a c-country to, um, to attend to," Tubbo stuttered out. Still very shaken by his best friend's death.

Philza looked to the young president, saddened, but understanding, "you get the country in order so you can take a few weeks off. I don't want to see you working tomorrow. Something like this needs time."

Tubbo nodded, wiping his cheeks to make sure they were dry. He took one last look at the lava, wishing he didn't know his friend had died here. But as he watched the swirling red's and oranges, a pale blonde head appeared.  The head followed by a red and while shirt and burned grey pants. Dead blue eyes looked at the three as he floated up to eye level.

"T-tommy?" Tubbo choked as he looked at his best friend. His ghost form looked much different from his alive self.

"Um, who's that? Who are you?"

"This is Ghostyinnit, guys!" Ghostbur floated out of the lava, next to Ghostinnit, "Ghostyinnit, this is your family! After spending a little time with them you'll start remembering things you didn't know you remembered! Atleast, that's what happened to me."

"Oh, okay," Tommy nodded, vaguely recognizing Ghostbur's voice. "And...I'm Tommy?"

Philza answered this time, "Yes, you're Tommy. I'm your father, Philza, this is your brother Techno," the pink haired man waved, "and your best friend Tubbo."

Tommy scowled, he wasn't sure why, but the name Tubbo made him mad. "Who are you."

It was a question of what they're names were, it was a demand to know who they were.

"I'm the president of L'manburg, and we used to be best friends. We had fun laughing and goofing off, and we used to hang out all the time."

"We were never best friend, you were friends with my alive half. Not me."

"I-well yeah. That's true," Tubbo looked to the ground, not quite sure what to do. No one was quite sure what to do, but they were all glad their Tommy was back, even if he wasn't quite himself.

"I...I died," Ghostyinnit stated, "I was killed like Theseus. Just I was thrown into a see of lava by my own accord instead of someone else throwing me into a normal sea of water."

"I'm regretting teaching him Greek mythology," Techno laughed, still sad but glad Tommy paid attention sometimes.

"How can I remember that, but I can't remember them?" The question was pointed at Ghostbur, but Ghosty boy was staring frustrated at the lava.

"I dunno, when I first became a ghost I could only remember how I died and all my happy memories. I don't know why you can't remember anything."

"I guess we'll just have to make new memories!" Tubbo smiled as he held out a hand to Ghostyinnit. The boy looked confused before taking the other's hand.

"Okay, but why?"

"Because everyone needs a second chance! I'll make sure yours is as happy as it can be," with that the two made their way down the log path towards L'Manburg. Tubbo had a smile on his face, not one of pure happiness, but it was genuine. And ghostyinnit followed, slightly confused as to why, but he felt it was the right thing to do.

Happy ending POG!

So this is the alternate ending to last chapter, hope you enjoyed it because I really like it.
